Willoughby By The Bay

I enjoyed this place. It is definitely one that has a locals vibe. I came in late, just looking to have a couple of drinks. Ended up with some apps, drinks, dessert, and some great conversation. The bartender was extremely friendly and on top of things. My favorite thing to try is the Expresso Martini. This location offers a pecan Martini for the holidays, as well as traditional. I did have the Expresso Martini in which had more of a sweet dessert vibe. It was good, I personally prefer more of a robust coffee tasting Martini. We tried some wings while there. They were nice and crispy, tossed in a flavorful Buffalo sauce. All in all, this is a cool spot out in the Willoughby area, I'll definitely be back to check out the menu more in depth!

Had better food in the past. Over done calamari used to have the best otherwise service was great. Will come back, maybe food will be better😁

Parking: Wasn't busy when we arrived, however our waitress I formed us we missed the crowd!🤗

Small, older establishment with great food, friendly service and environment. My shrimp with garlic flavored buffalo sauce were phenomenal...fresh, seasoned just right and perfect texture. Ms. Mary thank you! Sat at the bar and the bartender, Ann was very attentive and helpful. Next time, don't get stuck in that tunnel traffic, get stuck at Willoughby By The Bay! Located just off the last exit leaving Norfolk headed towards the HRBT. A hidden gem.

This place was exactly what we wanted - a local spot with good seafood. Their “steamed” shrimp are delicious and not steamed at all and they were huge! We got 2 dozen oysters steamed then I had the crab cake sandwich and my wife had a flounder sandwich. They seemed short staffed so service was slow, but the bartender took great care of us. Drinks were great and we enjoyed the deck.
