Ordered takeout: 1.5 pounds of crab legs, one of the samplers and the she crab soup. I would say it was just okay, the crab legs were not the best and the she crab soup wasn’t very flavorful. Spent over $100 for two people!

Small and very casual. Crab dip was a smaller portion than other restaurants we've dined at in Hampton Roads. It was however delicious. Seemed like it consisted of crab and pimento dip. Lunch entree 2 crabcakes with a side of coleslaw was expensive compared to other restaurants. The crabcakes were salty, even for a seafood. However they seemed to be 100% crab with spices and no filler. Painkiller cocktails were watery compared to other restaurants in the area. Being on the water is a definite plus.
Based on the reviews we decided to give this place a try. The place is small but a party of 11 was quickly accomodated inside. We were taken care of with a smile. The large group was not an obstacle as our 3:00 dining time was between lunch and dinner. The fish tacos were ordered by many and did not disappoint. We were all served within minutes. The food was hot and high quality. We were on vacation and can understand why the locals would like to keep this hidden gem to themselves!

Quintessential marina restaurant but with one major difference - next level food! I stopped in for a crab cake and came back two days later for more. Their menu is robust with homemade family recipes and incredible seasoning. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will eat here every time I’m in the area!

We were disappointed. We visited because the reviews were so high on Google, but we had a 1 star experience. We waited over an hour for our food because they were so short staffed. The poor server was the bar tender and waitress for everyone. Our calamari appetizer was served cold with the breading falling off. The server forgot to bring out serving plates when she said she would. We waited over an hour for our food with four little kids. The atmosphere was great--we entertained the kids by looking out over the harbor at the boats. The long wait could have been forgotten if the food were good. But, after our long wait was over, we ate sorry fish tacos which were mostly tortilla and cabbage with a tiny bit of fish. And half of the fish was skin. One of us had a burger that was really small, dry, and not really good. I tried my kid's fried fish from the kids' menu to see why he wasn't eating it--it was because it was the driest fish I've ever had. At the end of the meal, the server said she'd be back with a to-go box. She never came back. I had to go over to the bar to ask for one after I decided she had forgotten about us again. The only good thing about the food was the french fries, but heck, I would've swung by a fast food place if I wanted fries. I was looking for good fish.
We came here on our beach vacation hoping for some fresh yummy fish. We ended up wasting time on our vacation sitting here awaiting mediocre food. I wouldn't recommend.
