Horrible Italian food. Not authentic. First off we had a party of 5. Now for the bad:1. No coat hooks at booths.2. Bench seats were tight and all torn up.3. Asked for olive oil and vinegar for salad ? and got Italian dressing not cool.4. Salad was small and didn't taste fresh.5. Portions are absurd!6. Over 1.5lbs of spicy sausage and stuffed pasta7. The other dish is over 2lbs of chicken and pasta.8. The chicken dish was asked to get penne pasta and got something else. Which now meant Mt mom had to try and cut chicken in a bowl over the wrong pasta without it getting all over. The breaded chicken was way too big and didn't taste good.9. Everyone had to have take home boxes. Which goes to show thier portion sizes are not authentic.10. Everyone felt a little ill after. I especially 72hrs later. This is now a do not recommend establishment. They spent money on Samsung galaxy tablets as menus instead of upgrading/ repairing seating areas. Visited a year ago and had similar experience.

A shockingly, terrible experience. When we were first seated, the waitresses argued over who's table it was in front of us. Then, one waitress used the back of a receipt to write our order. The other (yes, they both continued to serve us throughout), she used a pink post-it pad. Guests stacked up at the hostess booth - where is she? No one knows. There's one 20-year old with a beard and no "beard net" making food while everyone else stands around trying to convince guests it's on the way. Finally got the food and it was basically trash. Burnt, tiny Stromboli thing and a pizza with canned mushrooms on it and no ricotta or fresh mozzarella. When we ready to eat, we realized we had no silverware or napkins and the server brought an unfolded napkin! I've never even seen that before in my whole life! Wow - seriously: get. It. Together. The first and last unfortunately because it would be great to have a quality fast Italian restaurant in Ghent.

The 3 stars are strictly for our waitress. She was the only good part about our experience. The hostess wasn't rude but she wasn't very welcoming either. Gave a vibe that we were inconveniencing her. We arrived an hour and a half before closing so there wasn't a reason to be annoyed. Although, everyone should be greeted with enthusiasm at any time though. We both ordered a chicken Alfredo pasta dish and were equally disappointed. It was a very large portion at least, but the taste wasn't that great. If the food didn't cost so much I probably would have just left the leftovers to be honest. The chicken was flavorless and the Alfredo sauce was the worst I've ever had. It was also too cold in the restaurant. All that said, we did appreciate the friendliness and attentiveness of our waitress.

I'm here at my first time at Ynot I was hoping for a good experience.... Not so much. Our server was new so we were definitely patient with her, but the unprofessional culture among the other staff members was disappointing. The food was ok but didn't give me a reason to come back. Overall im just disappointed I'm going to spend this much on the bill.

Had dinner tonight at the Colley Avenue Ynot Italian restaurant. The past couple visits have been sub par but tonight was the worst. Waitress took our orders 1) two slices of pepperoni pizza, small Cyndi's salad, and a Diet Coke 2) Italian wedding soup, Cauliflower margherita pizza, and water. It took nearly 45 minutes for me to get both the salad and pizza slices at the same time and then my partner's INCORRECT flour-based margherita pizza came 15 minutes later. The waitress apologized and said that we could keep the pizza and stated that she would put in a rush order for the cauliflower version. We're at the one hour mark by this time. I kept an eye on the kitchen and our waitress was hardly there and when she was, she was on her cell phone. I saw some finger pointing and looks at our table and then another very sweet and apologetic young lady came to our rescue. I had long finished my dinner. Apparently, waitress #1 never put the second rush cauliflower pizza order in and went MIA. At the nearly 1.5 hour mark, my partner got his pizza. THIS is a classic example of the service that's now coming out of the Colley Avenue store. I hope that the owners of Ynot read this review and do something to correct matters at that restaurant. Oh, and we were never given the promised free pizza AND the restaurant kept it on our bill. I had to ask to have it removed.

Used to be one of my favorites, but last couple of times the food has not been very good. I ordered lasagna and it came out cold, sent it back to be re-nuked came back warm and the taste was not great. Wife's baked ziti was not hot either. Service was slow and for a big restaurant they stacked everyone into the front corner of the store.

Usually Ynot pizza has great service but tonight's was just bad. Tonight was just me and my daughter. I had to ask twice for a booster seat, I had to ask for utensils and napkins (I had none), it took 25 minutes for 2 cheese slices to come out, and the server did not even refill my soda once. I will not be coming back for a while.

Y Not? I'll tell you why to NOT waste your time or appetite. Every time I have come here in the last year, the food has been both incorrect and subpar. As if they weren't doing bad enough, this establishment somehow unlocked a new level of substandard service by not even making my food...TWICE. That's right, I ordered in person and they never made the food. Although I took a solemn vow to never step foot in that shoddy business again, two months later I was starving and therefore not thinking clearly. I placed an order over the phone, and wouldn't you know, when I arrived, my order was (yet again) mysteriously misplaced in whatever unknown universe of restaurant misgivings that Y Not customer orders seem to gravitate towards. I cannot recommend this establishment, the food, the manager/owner, nor most of the wait staff. If you STILL decide to try it out for yourself and end up having a terrible experience; then that's on you...you've been warned. For real...how on God's green earth is this restaurant still in business? If you are starving and NEED pizza or pepperoni rolls, go to a gas station down the street...at least you'll walk out with some sort of sustenance.

09/23/22 I have eaten here over the years dozens of times. The prices have gone up, as everything has, but it is the same as ever. The wait was longer this time. We were sat and it seemed to take longer than normal. I would ask for bread as soon as you order your food so you can have it for salads. The manager came around asking how everything was, nice to see. I think now that people are making choices on what to spend their money on and where this is a smart thing to do. I had the chicken Parmesan dinner, the wife a slice of pizza, and the kid a whole sub. It was 54 bucks before tip. Plus a Coke. The wife and I had water.

The pizza is a little better than alright. I actually enjoy the one with actual tomato slices on it the most as it's quite refreshing but coming from NY I guess I'm kind of hard to please with pizza. The curst is thin but more on the chewy side and not really crispy. The cheese is lacking in savoriness and the flavors just aren't as robust and deep as I'd like them to be. I've had everything from the cheese, pepperoni, buffalo chicken. I think if it had a crispier crust and sweeter/more fragrant tomato sauce it would be better.

The staff is amazing and were very kind and accommodating to us while we were there. The portions are wonderful and make sure that you will be full. Amazing altogether and I would always come to eat here

We used to eat at YNot regularly but hadn’t for a while. We stopped by this evening for dinner and had a terrible time. The server never brought our appetizer, didn’t know what was on tap, didn’t check on us until we complained, and then our check was wrong. The pizza tasted fine but was cold when we got it. We won’t be back.

I used to love this place! It was always where I would take friends who were visiting from out of town. It's also within walking distance from my job, so I would frequently pop over to get out of the office for a bit. I've had some bad experiences the past few times I've been, but I have tried to be patient because I know lots of places are still dealing with staff shortages and other issues after COVID. But, last night's trip will definitely be my last. The waitress (very likely the same waitress about whom so many others have complained) was so rude. Although she was not to be seen at other times during the meal, she kept hovering over me when it was time for me to complete the tip portion of my receipt. Then as soon as I completed everything, she snatched it up and gave me such a salty "Have a nice day" (as if 20% after tax was an insult). I used to work in food service so I can fully appreciate the challenges the workers are dealing with. I always give them every chance and still tip generously because I know the struggle. But also, for an Italian place, I think customers would now find a more flavorful experience heating up a jar of store-brand sauce. Everything has gone down here... that is, except the prices. But I think, in general, customers are understanding about price issues, provided that they still receive excellent customer service and delicious food. Even the manager was irritated because no one would answer the phone while he was trying to conduct an interview or employee review. Additionally the house music kept cutting in and out every other word or so. So annoying. I've just had it with this place. The original YNot family needs to take back the management of this location, or else they might as well count their losses and just close it.

Super frustrating when you order lunch and they say it will be 30 minutes and I am now at the hour 15 mark and only have been given the run around. They have great food but this location is terrible when it comes to delivery. This isn't the first time they have been this late but I PROMISE, it will be the last.

Garlic knots are incredible, their food is pretty good very cute setting they do need to work on the I think they're muscles anyway they were chewy and when we were asking them to redo them they said that that's just how they were going to be to be unwilling to fix the problem is not ideal nor does it make sense for the consumer or the business!
