Food is always amazing here
Yummy Wok is (as far as I know) the only place in the area that does Northern Chinese doughy dumplings, and they are wonderful. Rich and savory filling, garlic-soy-ginger-chive-vinegar dumplings sauce perfectly balanced, dough springy and chewy and comfort-food thick (and not tough or gluey, just worked exactly right). This dish is my food equivalent of a weighted blanket: heavy enough to settle and ground the body and mind, but also so flavorful that it cheers up the spirit. Highly recommend!
Delicious !!!
This place has authentic food. We know.. we've lived in Asia for many years ! We tried the Singapore noodles, spicy đ. The pork finally had the beef. All very well cooked. We enjoyed well priced food that is cooked well. Furthermore, it's nice to support a family business!
Absolutely terrible customer service. The lady working there is beyond rude, and the guy just follows whatever she says like heâs scared of her. My daughter called in our order and accidentally said no vegetables, but quickly clarified just no peas and carrots. The lady said okay. When I picked up the food and verified my order as I always do, she immediately got an attitude instead of just fixing the mistake. Instead of remaking the rice properly, she just tossed onions on top of the side that was visual . When I called back to explain what was happening and I wasnât happy with me order, I could hear her yelling loudly in the background, which just proved she didnât care about getting the order rightâjust about being right.
At that point, I didnât trust them to remake my food and just wanted my money back. The guy told me to bring the food back the next day for a refund. Seriously? It was already late and was annoyed by her mistake. This place is overpriced and clearly doesnât care about their customers. I wonât be back, and I wouldnât recommend anyone waste their money here.
Wonderful restaurant. Their Steak-on-a-Stick is the best!

Man, let me tell you something. Yummy Wok and I, we go way back. Iâm talking years! I've been ordering from this spot like it's part of my routine. Every time I was craving that sweet, sweet sesame chicken, I knew Yummy Wok had my back. It was like, âYummy Wok? Bet.â Boom, food on my desk.
But TODAY, oh, today⊠I call in, same order, same deal, and they hit me with, âWe donât deliver to your workplace anymore. Itâs too far.â Too far?! Now yâall too good for me? Like I just became too distant after all these years?! Iâm sitting here like, âWait, what happened to us?â
Disappointed doesnât even cover it. Yâall just gon' break up with me like that? After YEARS of loyalty? I feel like that one friend who everyone decides to leave at the party without a ride. Yâall used to be my ride, Yummy Wok!
I don't know what changed, but it ainât right. I guess my taste buds are gonna be going somewhere else now.

First time eating here. I saw someone with a large order and asked if the food was good. To her response, she said âYea, itâs really good.â so I returned the next day. Got the Bourbon Chicken lunch special which comes with your choice of white rice or fried rice. I also added an egg roll.
Everything was hot and fresh. I made my order online and walked to pick it up (about 0.8 miles); I had no issues with my food being soggy or cold when I got home and everything was packaged well. There are other Chinese-American staples that Iâd like to try from the menu and then some. Will definitely be returning.

So hereâs my review:
This place is a tiny whole in the wall off Brandon Ave in Ghent. Iâd wanted something new and got it. General Tsoâs shrimp. Theyâd made it for it. It was pretty good. Usually doesnât come with veggies, but theyâd stuck some broccoli which I love. Not too bad with the chicken fried rice.

Tell me why the old man in the back was seasoning my food wth his mucus last Sunday! I placed my order and about a minute later and noticed I was hearing a lot of coughing and gagging. So I walk from near the wall to the right, over to the left side of the restaurant and could see him clear as day, open-mouth hard coughing with his germ mist going right into the pan he was scrambling and cooking my egg Foo young in!??? I swear, it looked like he was trying to get it in. When he saw me staring at him he didn't have even more coughs. I will NEVER go back and will make sure that all of the people I talk about chinese food with know! I'm even more pissed because a coworker ordered food from there not too long ago, and I got the chicken wings and fried rice. The chicken wings tasted like they had been marinated in nail polish remover, but I thought it was some sort of fluke + I was tired after running around after church last week and this place was the closest, so I thought I'd give them a second chance, but shame on me now I'm done and want to let any inquirers know what I eye witnessed last week. If you have fears of those sort of places being gross and hygienic, know that this place is yet another one of them and DO NOT EAT THERE. The health department could probably link cases to this place.

Dumplings , and wontons both tasted spoiled. We spit them out. Moshu pork was ok, but didn't taste, nor have the texture of pork. Eggfoo young , and rice were ok. Fortune cookies were older then the dumplings, and wontons. But not by to many months. No reason for any restaurant to serve food like that.
