I am so happy I found this rare gem! I had finished lunch at Firebird then wanted something sweet so I dropped by the Front Porch Cakes Too next door. When I walked in it smelled so good. The owner welcomed me as she was preparing orders in the back. I had to wait before placing my order but well worth it. I tried a slice of the vanilla cake. Pros: 5 flavor pound cake is amazing. Easily the best pound cake I've ever had.
Cons: Customer service/online orders need work. My cake order got messed up (the online order sheet put 2 instead of 1, was missing a flavor for cake 2, but clearly had a flavor for cake 1 - according to the lady who was there when I attempted to pickup) and although there were numerous ways to contact me available on the online order sheet (my phone number, my email address,...

We had a slice of their vanilla and it was so so good! Would have loved it if they had more options for us to get from a walk-in and if they had an option to try their icing on a slice, though.
The people there were very sweet and understanding; going out of their way to get us a fresh slice of vanilla! It was great customer service :)
