Our waiter didn't understand anything we said from the start. We asked for sweet tea, and got unsweetened. OK that's understandable. Then we order, and the gentleman repeats everything back, but didn't understand anything that we ordered. So I pointed to the menu, and he copied it from the menu. Fajitas for 2, to split between the 2 of us. A manager came over to see if we really wanted 2 orders of fajitas. NOPE. Anywho, ok, then no lie 5 minutes goes by and our fajitas come out, so how long was that just sitting back there??? All the steak, some chicken, and 5 shrimp. Got the bill, and our 2 sweet teas cost us $8! The sour cream I asked for, because, you know, things are good with sour cream....yeah that cost me $1 on a $30 menu item. Come on!!! We were the only table in the restaurant, and got the newest waiter they could find. Please at least understand the words of the food you're selling. I've been in restaurants all of my adult life, working in, marketing for, or consulting with. You can't expect people to come in if this is what you're working with. P.S. The fajitas were bland, and tasteless, that is why I ordered the crema (sour cream). Shot myself in the foot 2x with that.

New owners suck. Changed the entire menu and jacked up the prices.$16 for a burrito. Go to Jalapeño on Cary St, way better and more affordable.

Very disappointing! Used to be our favorite go to Mexican restaurant, however, not after tonight! Everything has changed in a bad way - prices have really gone up, food quality has gone down considerably and menu selection is very limited. Cannot get over the decrease in quality!

Definitely check out the menu before you decide to eat there. I’d been going for years and loved this place but they have a new menu that I don’t care for at all. Many authentic dishes have been removed. No more combinations platters or taco salads either. Prices have gone up quite a bit also. Not good. The vegetarian is also not at all how it was before. I won’t be going back.

My husband and I stopped for lunch over the weekend and were very disappointed. This used to be a nice little place that had great food, good serving sizes and fair prices. Not anymore!! Even the standard chips and sauce was bad. I ordered chicken Enchiladas and found a small chicken bone in one of mine. The green sauce topping them had a vinegar taste. And the rice was pitiful. My husband's chimichangas were not good and not like any chimichangas he had ever had. We were served by a young lady who barely spoke English and obviously was not very experienced. Save your money, especially because there are a few much better Mexican restaurants very close by.

We had seen that the menu had changed and long term patrons had rated 1 star so we were concerned. I will say it couldn't have been better. Food was great and the service was impeccable. Maybe they read recent reviews and made some changes. We will visit again.

Not a regular but did notice the menu had changed. They do not have a simple dinner of tacos rice and beans. Seems to be more street taco vibe at 5.00 per taco. I ordered a quesadilla, 6.00. Steak was shaved steak, good flavor but dry, outside not crisp and cheese not melted. The rice is delicious but the black refried beans look and taste unappealing. I asked to add mushrooms, they did not have any. Weird ! I think I saw pasta on the menu !! I won't be back, I want some of the traditional items like carnitas.

This is a very nice hidden gem. When you come up to the building, it does not look like anything special. It just looks like an older auto building. But when you go inside, that place is very nicely renovated and spotlessly clean. I'm talking not a lick of dirt could be found.My server was very quick and kind. Was very considerate when he was bringing out the food, and checked on me multiple times. I ordered chori Pollo, and it was very well seasoned and flavorful. I was very full and satisfied by the time I left. And the price was very good also.If you have not gone here, check this place out.
