Karen was an awesome server and the food was delicious. A+!

I haven't eaten here in many years I look forward to this but was disappointed by the quality of the food the ribs I ordered were very hard and overcooked the corn was delicious as was the muffin the brisket didn't look the right color and tasted undercooked. in addition the restaurant needs a new Decor package or an upgrade it looks like the original package from when the restaurant opened. The waitress was friendly and the service is relatively quick.

I had a bad experience with one of the servers and the professional level of management they have is amazing. The GM contacted me and made sure this incident won’t happen again and was very accommodating.
Always love the food here and service has always been excellent. Definitely recommend

I will have to admit, it's been 10 years I have been to Famous Dave's. The last time was not a good time. I remember both food and service was poor. But that was with the ex (wife at the time, maybe foreshadowing?).

This time with my son. I didn't know he liked bbq. He never mentions it cause he loves Asian cuisine. I told him this will never be as good as authentic Texas BBQ which I have had several times in Texas (Austin/Fort Worth/Dallas). But I digress.

We got the meal for 2 (or 3) cause it's the better value rather than ordering our own meals AND, we get to try a lot of items. We went with Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs, Fried Chicken, beans, slaw, corn, fries and corn bread muffins.

It took about 10-12 minutes for our food to come out. Good sign? Yes cause when we got it, everything was hot and fresh. Brisket was soft and tender. The ribs were smokey and tender. The fried chicken was crunchy and seasoned. A little dry. BBQ Baked Beans were flavorful with pieces of bbq pork. Cole slaw was cold and freshing with hint of horseradish. A little watery though. Corn was corn and corn muffins were dry. The fries were hot and fresh, but not seasoned. The bbq sauces are on the sweet and sticky side.

Service was good. Server left us alone but could have refilled our drinks during the meal.

We had to get to go containers cause its too much food for 2 people.

Overall, the food and service has dramatically improved. Granted it was on a Thursday at 4:30pm and not that busy so more care was put into the food. But there were a lot of carry out and to go orders.

Again, take this with a grain of salt. For BBQ in Oakton/Northern VA, it's not true Texas, Carolina, KC, Memphis craft BBQ but it is a decent chain bbq joint. Mission is a little better but Famous Dave's is decent for quality and value. This might be a once every 4-6 months type of experience

Horrible experience. Ordered and paid online for scheduled delivery for a party. Restaurant sent wrong order and tried to blame delivery service (which they hired) and said we had to go to delivery service for assistance. Restaurant refused to replace order. Said our options were to re-order (paying again for the food we didn’t get) or get a refund. Took the refund. No food for my party. Will never order from Famous Dave’s again. Too back because the food’s good. It’s the service that’s crummy.

We love this place! We order delivery often. Always so good. I love the plank salmon and my husband loves the brisket. Don't skip the corn muffins. Though one comes with your meal, you are going to want to buy extra. The bread pudding is also amazing. Easily enough to share. When you are ready to eat it, microwave it for about a minute and the sauce for about 10 seconds. You will thank me. Definitely one of our favorite spots in NoVa.

Good service. Good atmosphere. The foods presentation and portion for the price is good. The food taste decent, food lacks flavor but has potential to be tasty after applying seasoning from home.

Went in on a Thursday night after a local highschool football game. The service was fine and everything else was below average. The presentation of the brisket sandwich being plated looked like a toddler threw bread and meat on a bun. Fried onion straws were too thin to be dipped in a remoulade sauce. Overall I love Famous Dave's, and I'm a big bbq guy but they need to hire a chef to redesign the menu or hire a kitchen manager because the cooks back they are goofing off.

One star and with good reason. This is the fourth time in a row that I have placed an order for delivery that either an item was missing or the entire order was wrong. The manager’s response was that we always check our orders. You can request that we seal your bag and that way no items get removed. So I guess, you are blaming the delivery driving for not delivering something you never gave him?? Very mature response…I will not be ordering from you again!

Eh it was alright, brisket had no flavor, Mac&cheese was good, overall for a BBQ joint it's decent, but being from Texas I'm used to craft

I recently dined at Famous Dave’s and was thoroughly impressed!
What really made the experience special was our server, Grayson. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. His excellent service added to an already great meal.
If you’re a BBQ fan, Famous Dave’s is a must-visit.

Brisket sandwich looks amazing. I got the smoked salmon was outstanding but the caesar salad it was on was disappointing and the dressing was runny.
