Hunan Tasty is a popular Chinese restaurant known for its reliable delivery service, quick ordering process, and great value. The delivery drivers are friendly and accommodating, and the food consistently receives positive feedback. Standout dishes include the General Tso's chicken, chow fun, egg drop soup, crispy beef, and Singapore Rice Noodle. The restaurant is also recognized for its tasty fried chicken wings and orange chicken, which features actual oranges for added flavor. Although the egg drop soup can sometimes be a bit too salty and the crispy beef can be hard, the flavors are generally well-received. Hunan Tasty is an affordable option, with meals like fried chicken wings and fried rice totaling around $24.50. As a Chinese American-owned establishment, it remains a top choice for carry-out in the Fairlakes to Oakton area. The cozy interior may feel a bit cramped, but there is a good amount of seating available. Customers appreciate the staff's willingness to go above and beyond, such as staying past closing to ensure orders are fulfilled.
