Oakton Wine Shop & Bistro LLC

This was our first, rest assured not our last visit. I became aware from a Fox5 segment and thought for my birthday we would give it a try. It was well worth the trip. The lobster Mac & cheese was so delicious. We had lamb (perfectly prepared), duck, and the pork chop for entrees. The absolute cherry of the evening were the beignets. I really enjoyed everything, Brian, Jeff, and Alex made the entire experience incomparable!

The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We absolutely loved the environment of this restaurant. First-rate place to take the family out for lunch.

I’ve been a couple of times but I felt rushed. Like I wasn’t fitting into his demographic and he wanted me out of there.

Great wine selection, particularly with their small distributor features. Highly recommend joining their wine club!

Food is unbelievable! Don’t let their location fool you (in a shopping center). The food and wine pairings are spot on!!! Their wine selection is ridiculous! If you haven’t tried Oakton Wine Shop & Bistro, don’t delay.

Just wasn't the atmosphere expected from something with the name bistro in it. Many dishes weren't available during our meal. Otherwise the staff was friendly enough.

Loved it. Very intimate feel. Personal attention. Great plates (pork loin with brussel sprouts and butternut squash for me, steak frites for my husband) with great wine recommendations. Not too loud. We loved it, and we will be back.

I tried this place before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I love the excellent atmosphere and flavorful dishes and drinks. Highly recommended.

Bryan has a great knowledge of wine, he’s always willing to help find the right bottle for the occasion, and he gives back to the community. Support this place!

We have been here before and have had great dinners and wine tastings.......however, on Dec. 8th, 2019, we stopped in for dinner (a Sunday night) around 6:30 pm after calling for a reservation. When we got there, the place was almost empty and looked unkept. Two tables had patrons and the rest were not set up, nor clean, and one had staff's personal laptop, business papers, clothing and other items strewn about it and boxes of unshelfed wines were sitting on the floor, looking like a Walmart at shelf stocking time. The hostess, and server, named Lauren, set up a table for us after a few minutes, right next to the staff table with the scarf and other paraphernalia.

This store has a wide range of various wines. Good service and advice from the employees.

I worked with the owner Brian and his assistant Lauren to organize a private event for my workplace last week. A sensational experience! They were ready when I arrived, the event flowed perfectly on schedule, the food was exquisite, everyone enjoyed Brian's wine selections, and he and Lauren were a great pleasure to work with throughout. Not to mention, it was a great value for the final cost. Everyone in my office kept thanking and congratulating me for putting on such a superb event, but I really did nothing. Brian and Lauren handled all the hustle and allowed me to enjoy the event. Thanks very much to the two of them for making me look so good! :) Loved every minute and very much looking forward to the privilege of working with them again.
