First visit was amazingg!! There weren't a lot of reviews so I wasn't sure how I felt going in. We normally don't dine in near Oakton, but it was close to home so we decided to give it a try. Three men team for about six tables on Sunday night. The service was impeccable, we had a reservation, so were greeted and seated right away, all the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. We planned on going in just for a glass or two to check out the place, ended up placing orders for mac and cheese, pork chop, and scallops. Wowwww. Everything was so delicious!! They told us the menu changes prett frequently too. We are definitely coming back. I was hesitant on posting because I don't want to share this secret gem!

This was our first, rest assured not our last visit. I became aware from a Fox5 segment and thought for my birthday we would give it a try. It was well worth the trip. The lobster Mac & cheese was so delicious. We had lamb (perfectly prepared), duck, and the pork chop for entrees. The absolute cherry of the evening were the beignets. I really enjoyed everything, Brian, Jeff, and Alex made the entire experience incomparable!

I am very disappointed that I walked into this wine bar praising our new administration only to hear someone yell "We're full, go back to one of your BLM bars"..... I'm appalled and disgusted that the owner (a portly white male) laughed and didn't attempt to difuse the matter. I'll never come back again!

Oakton Wine Shop & Bistro is such a wonderful local shop. We love it. We love the fabulous wines we get in our monthly subscription. They are interesting and delicious. The virtual wine tastings have been a bright spot during these months of quarantine. We can't wait to taste in person again but the flexibility and adaptability of OWS has been critical over the last few months to us. Also, I cannot say enough kind words about everyone there. Last week, I forgot their hours, OWS was closed but Jeff was there cleaning up. He saw me and grabbed my wine order and loaded it in my car. He acted like it was no big deal. It was a big deal. He is fantastic. It brightened my day. I won't forget it. The service is fantastic. I feel beyond lucky to have such a fantastic establishment so close to where I live!

Food is unbelievable! Don’t let their location fool you (in a shopping center). The food and wine pairings are spot on!!! Their wine selection is ridiculous! If you haven’t tried Oakton Wine Shop & Bistro, don’t delay.
