On a Saturday night , the place was very quiet. There is no ambiance, cafeteria like cold feeling .One guy behind the bar , no service . Prices are high . Expect to spend $40 each for a fried appetizer ,a sandwich and a flat bread with a bottled beverage . Yes you get charged $4 for fries . Very disappointing

I really enjoy SDE. The beer is really solid, fried pickles are a must, and you don’t feel like a stranger when you sit down. +1 for great owners.

I work for a nonprofit that hosts an annual event here, and it’s always a great experience. Frank and Chef Philip are incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. The venue offers a wide selection of beers, delicious food, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a team of friendly, capable staff. I highly recommend checking out SDE, whether you're planning a private event, grabbing dinner, or just stopping in for drinks. Be sure to check out their Trivia Night and Music Bingo too (Tuesdays and Thursdays, respectively).

My first visit here & I'm charged $33.76 too much. The place wasn't crowded. Only 1 person behind the bar. It's a good thing I glanced at my bill. I don't think it was an accident. Check your bill before paying.

My husband and I recently held a couples Fantasy Football Draft event here & had an absolute blast. Frank and the staff were so accomodating to each and every single need or idea we had. Communication was easy and accessible, the space was exactly what we needed & we were even able to stream onto one of the TV's in the space for our own use during the event. I would highly recommend the Oakton Tasting Room for events and have zero complaints of our experience working with them!!

Did a flight to try their beer. Would do their 2 cloud 9. The Bavarian pretzel tasted great and the nachos with brisket which was excellent. My mom had the Rubin sandwich and she would get it again next time she visits.

Some breweries are only about the beer and the food is an afterthought. NOT here. There is great beer, cider, hard seltzer and wine for the non-beer drinkers. The beef brisket is really tasty and the other dishes on the menu look great. We stopped in for lunch, but will be back to try brunch and the other items on the menu. Settle Down Easy should definitely be a stop on your family owned brewery tour!

We were looking for brisket and found this place during our online search. Food was great! Brisket sliders were amazing and can't wait to try the brisket nachos next time. My husband enjoyed his beer, and being a non-beer drink myself, I was happy to see they had a hard seltzer that they also make in-house. On top of that, it's a family owned business, which I am happy to support!

Good beer and great smelling food. 3 stars because I ordered a flight and it was $16 and less than a full pint! They say ignorance is bliss but buyer beware!!! In San Diego if they charged those prices the flight would come with a free glass or half off a shirt.

Edit: Owner bashes me for leaving a a 3 star review and says i should have taken my complaint to the bar tender where it would surly not have reached the intended group (people who read reviews on google). The bar tender has no control over the prices you set. I have drank beer all over the world, tasters should be free. And flights should be reasonable. Your complaints of tariffs and your paranoia of what ever else you were jabbering on about are of no importance to me.

We had a great experience at Settle Down Easy in Oakton! We recently celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday, and it was truly unforgettable. The food, prepared by Chef Philip and his team, was absolutely outstanding! The service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. And of course, the beer selection was top-notch! Settle Down Easy truly created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made the evening special for everyone. Huge thanks to the whole team for making this celebration so memorable! We’ll definitely be back!

Misty and Frank have built quite the reputation as the “go to” spot for a laid back, family friendly brewery. Everyone here makes you feel like family, and it’s that atmosphere that will keep me coming back.
