We order Tropical Smoothie all the time using the app. It’s easy and fast. We never have a problem…until we were in the neighborhood and tried this location. It was absurdly slow. The kitchen sounded like social hour and our food took multiples longer for the same order than other locations locally. Also the temperature inside was extremely cold for some reason. Just weird.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered through the Tropical Smoothie App. I get a text that they confirmed my order. I then get a text that the driver has picked up my order. I then get a text that the driver handed me my order which was a LIE!!! I never received my order. I kept calling the store and it went to voicemail each time!! I left messages and no one returned my phone call. I also left messages on the cell phone for the driver that was provided on a text that I received. He finally called me back and said that he did not pick up my order because he was on the highway. I am trying to get a refund and the store is not returning my phone calls!!! This is unacceptable!!!!

Great smoothies! Always fresh, and the restaurant is clean. Considering the price of coffee in DC and even ice cream, the price for the smoothies is so worth it. It is only $7 a smoothie, and you get a really tall filled-up cup. Mocha madness and the sunshine smoothie are my personal favorites. Quesadillas are my favorite here too. Overall, great service, delicious food, and highly recommend.

The most trifling customer service I ever received in my life! My order was sent to the wrong store then when I called the store about it. The associate was incompetent and told me he had to call the manager he didn’t know what to do. The manager said I couldn’t get my money back. Even though I paid and didn’t get it! Then hung up on me and won’t pick up the phone! Don’t waste your money here. Times are hard and you’re going to play with peoples money shame on you! I hope you go out of business!

Over all we do love tropical smoothie food, we go there all the time normally multiple times a week my kids love the smoothies. But recently especially with the new owner the friendly atmosphere is gone. It's sad for such staple in the area for new management to change what was a loving friendly establishment. When he first took over he said he was all about the community but my most recent visit the owner themselve was rude to myself and my kids. The menu also seems to keep changing and the portions aren't as generous. Overall not kid friendly (well not friendly at all) ?
