Just attempted to pick up a Door Dash order from here. Clerk was rude, wouldn't listen and unhelpful. Acted like he knew everything, like he was an all-knowing God, Ancient of Days, Creator. Customer never received their order and I wasted my time and money.

Dined here yesterday with my best friend, and it was an awful experience! The food was not authentic in taste nor appearance. The waiter was Horrible! He had the worst attitude as if we were disturbing him. He was nasty and sloppy in appearance. He was forgetful and not focused. Who takes foods from the table without asking if we're done! He had no bartending skills and could not serve us what we've had there at a cocktail outing prior. Truth be told.....this guy was high as hell. He exuded all the symptoms. Well, now I know never to darken that doorstep again! Did I mention that the tables where not cleaned. There was grease and residue on my table and the tables around me.

Ordered their drunken noodles, paid for extra beef and asked for mild spice. They did not accommodate to what was requested & barely had any beef in my order.

Im a pescatarian..Fish is virtually my only meat source..im a regular take out customer here..im sad I was Forced to cancel my order and not allowed to pay the difference between "seafood" and "salmon" which are the same price...meaning i was willing to actually pay more ...but was offered vegetables only instead of the salmon...wow

I love eating here. In this time where everyone is watering everything down, while raising rates and tip percentages, this restaurant continues to provide great food, and service.

This is a quaint restaurant in the awesome Occoquan Old Town district. There is not a lot of seating, but it is cozy and comfortable. The Pon Tak (seafood soup) was delicious. The service was prompt and mostly friendly. We are giving three stars only, because the food is a little expensive and I was served raw noodles in my pad see ew. The noodles found in pad-see-ew are supposed to be carefully stir-fried until they caramelize, which brings out the delicious flavor of the sauce and makes the noodles be not too soft and soggy. Some of the noodles that I was served could be stretched and smashed like raw pizza dough. They did try to fix the noodles, but they still came back undercooked. All in all, it's an OK Thai joint if you're in Occoquan looking for something tasty.

Most Thai places in the area are very accommodating and will remove fish sauce, oyster sauce, and eggs to make most dishes vegan. But they explicitly told me they would not make any accommodations. I assume they probably have the same policy with allergies.Staff was very short with me over the phone as well - I would not recommend.

I had to leave a review, because I feel like I was Pranked by the reviews on this restaurant. I ordered pad Thai and they brought out a plate of noodles that looks like it had ketchup on it, and it smelled like dead dog and throw up I kid you in not. I feel like they try to serve the same food to people and when they send it back, they just keep putting it on a plate and trying to get people to eat it for days on end because the smell made me almost sick to my stomach. Or they take the leftovers from other peoples food and dump a bunch of old sauce on it and try to serve it to you. I’m not sure if they don’t know how to make pad Thai at this point maybe just take it off the menu, but I think the health department needs to be called. Be careful eating here. If I wasn’t bold enough to say something and ate that I could’ve been really sick right now. Someone needed to say something, but something is not right here.

I came here with a colleague/friend and his wife for dinner. Overall, I enjoyed it.The food, service, and atmosphere are good. The fried pork belly dish that I had was excellent. The location in Occoquan's historic district can't be beat. The buildings are quaint, the river is right there, and there's a park, walking paths, and a foot bridge to cross the river.I have to give a lot of props to the young lady who was serving the entire dining room. It was just her, and she did an excellent job serving the tables and handling takeout orders by herself. At around 6 PM when I got there, the restaurant was empty. Shortly after I arrived, four or five parties of people came in, and she handled everything well. She also did a great job handling a very rude, condescening woman who kept asking her dumb questions about the menu and wasting her time.I would definitely return to Bann Thai Old Town for another dining experience or a takeout order.Parking: There are parking spaces available along the street. There's a large parking lot located about a half a mile away.

Love this little gem! We got dumplings to start, then drunken noodles with chicken and a dish of pork belly, onion, and peppers, with a spicy sauce.EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!The place is quaint and has limited seating, but it made for an intimate setting. I 100% recommend trying this place.
