“This place topped it off after the visual experience of the Eclipse. Thank you for fresh tasting of all our dishes we had ordered. From entrance to the service of our food, please continue to be impeccable!”
“Amazing hospitality. This will forever be my go to spot on my walk down to the river. Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing little spot. Love the dogs and creative sodas.I’ve been a few times already with my kids and solo.Worth a visit. I haven’t had their lobster roll but I will try that next time!!”
“Very cute venue, we love the igloos! The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious! They have a good variety of beers on tap, cocktails and more. Great new local spot!”

“I love eating here. In this time where everyone is watering everything down, while raising rates and tip percentages, this restaurant continues to provide great food, and service.”
“Absolutely delicious food! Stopped in Occoquan to get out of 95 traffic—we picked a gem! The bacon-wrapped meatloaf was delicious; the Greek Lamb burger was delicious as well! Though they should make their fries “bottomless”! Will definitely stop here again.”
“The flavors here are AMAZING! You can really taste real fruit in their flavors (try blackberry cobbler and strawberry cheesecake). The price is super cheap too, and the employee was super kind. She was also very generous with the scoops. Would very much recommend!”
“I’ve been here in the past and before the new owners. The new owners/chef are excellent! It’s a cute, small, family owned restaurant with a cozy vibe. You feel like you’re at their house and they’re hosting you. Highly recommend!! I love the moussaka and falafel pita :)”
“We got some food at this restaurant and it was wonderful, everything was cooked perfectly. I really liked the appetizers we got, and the main dishes were even better.Kid-friendliness: Waiters were all very nice and polite.”
“Delicious pizza with nice crunchy thin crust! The water you could tell was high quality. Atmosphere is gorgeous. Beautiful artistic walls with cozy fireplace filled with gems. Sparkly floors wooden doors!”
“I've eaten here a couple of times years ago and wasn't too impressed. Fast forward to this past weekend, since the weather has been nice, I decided to make us reservations for brunch and what a great decision. We shared delicious avocado toast with a hefty serving of smoked salmon. I tried something different with the breakfast burrito. Oh goodness, this thing is big enough to feed a family of four and was perfectly made. Filled with scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, peppers, topped with pico, cheese, and avocado, served with a side of cilantro dressing. This was not a typical burrito, it was lightly grilled and was easily cut with a knife and eaten with a fork. My friend went with the traditional breakfast. We both had a cocktail with brunch and both were made perfectly. Food was amazing! Service was outstanding! Outside atmosphere was picturesque with potential. Although the patio can use an update with canoes and such slightly distracting from the waterfront view, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Madigan's Waterfront.”
“We first started going to the Bar J some forty (yes, 40) years ago when it shared a concrete block building with Booth Feed down on U.S. 1. It looked scary (but wasn't) and the food was wonderful. We got to know the owners and followed the Bar J all over Prince William and south Fairfax Counties for years as it was forced to move by highway expansion and such, or opened new locations . The address changed but the food didn't. We thought it was gone for good when both the original owners had passed on and the last location at US 1 and Rt. 123 closed some years ago. NOW IT'S BACK and the original recipes are still the same--it's like finding a long-lost family member. Don't cheat yourself, GO. And order my favorite, the pork burrito, when you're tired of chili concoctions. Welcome back, Bar J!”
“super quaint and idyllic coffe & crepe shop with plenty of options for those with lactose intolerance & dietary restrictions. :) perfect start to the day”
“We had the best waitress Savanah, she was amazing and very personable. She was on top of her game. I highly recommend this place and ask for Savannah to wait on you!!!!”
“Reservations are needed for dinner given the popularity of this local gem. Food and tea were outstanding. Plan on returning for my next trip to the area.Vegetarian options: The pumpkin dumplings made my day!”
“We ordered the 4-course dinner menu which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and we appreciated the Turkish wine recommendation. This restaurant is very close to our house and definitely consider it a neighborhood gem. We will go back to try different menu items.”
“Great dinner. The service was good in both promptness, suggestions, cleaning up, etc. Food was almost top notch and had potential...but wasn't fully what I consider fine dining. It's just a nice place to have a good family and friend dinner...not necessarily a first time business dinner unless you are already networked with them. Between the 4 of us, we had salad Caesar Classique, mushroom soup, NY Strip Steak, pork chop, the special Ahi, and the special sea bass. Everything delicious and just a spot off as fine dining but definitely close to it. We had a couple good desserts also.”
“It was quite slow while I was there. We had 4 adults and a baby. The highchair was a little too large for a 6 month old, and couldn't hold a carrier. So we had her on a chair next to our booth until she decided she wanted to sit next to us. It worked out, but if it was busier it would have been a problem.”
“I ordered the crab cake it was delicious, I don't have one bad thing to say.. if there was anything that I didn't like it has nothing to do with the food or service, buy the bathroom was I'm an odd spot and although they have elevator it would be nice to not have to go so far to get to the restroom”
“This place is IT. Finally took my wife and daughter here had the chance to meet the owner this time he had us sampling sauces and gave my daughter a juice jug I’m very impressed by this ”
“One of the best African Restaurants in Virginia! It had a great selection of Nigerian, Sierra Leone and more dishes. Delicious suya, perfect puff puff, best attieke, and an extremely friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by and grab something yummy for your tummy.”
“Hey Scott, hope you’re reading this wanted to let you know tonight I had an amazing night. Your bar tenders kat and Mac are such a great duo behind the bar, I got a new job that’s super stressful and I hit the bar to release some steam and kat and mac we’re so charming and charismatic and really made my night without knowing my circumstances, they just delivered that hospitality and customer service. Wanted to emphasize that kat handled her self with such grace and delivered on that fun atmosphere even with a cheap rude arrogant “iPad adult” that was just nasty and rude I had to turn around on my bar stool and give him my side eye ? did not phase her, she kept her cool calm and collective demeanor. As I seethed in my seat enjoying my cocktail. If I worked for you, I woulda punched him fyi.?”
“The absolute best bun bue hue and the area. Soup has very good authentic flavor and very good portions. Bun bue hue did not disappoint. Maybe the best bun bue hue I've had in the area. It was my first time here found them on uber eats and went to pick it up cause it was cheaper. Can't wait to try there all beef traditional pho. I've literally been to a majority of pho places in there area this was is top quality. The restaurant name bistro speaks for itself.”
“Delicious chana masala with delicate, fragrant rice. Family-run with friendly service.Parking: In a shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Had chicken nuggets for picky kids.”
“Eggs & Sushi is a hidden gem!! I've driven down Fullerton a bunch of times and just never noticed it until today. We went ahead and checked it out for breakfast since it wasn't quite lunchtime - the food taste and quality was amazing! We had a egg and cheese on a bagel, a breakfast burrito, and a smoothie. The service is fantastic, everyone working behind the counter is so friendly. The food was prepared quickly and was hot and fresh. They also offer smoothies, assorted beverages, coffee, espresso drinks, and even have beers and sake. The atmosphere is like a really cute little deli with a few tables and a sushi bar.The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, we're definitely planning to come back for breakfast sometime and want to try their Japanese lunch options. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!”
“Went to this restaurant the other day with some friends at lunch. They offer dine in, take out, outdoor seating. The restaurant is very cute and kept very clean. I believe they are also now partnering with Washington Capitals which is awesome! There's plenty of parking, handicap parking, handicap accessible, bathrooms located on the premises. You can order ahead, order on tablets when you get there, or the bartender is always very sweet and willing to help out. Food is made fresh and comes pretty quickly. Everything tastes great! Would absolutely recommend for a visit!”
“I was looking forward to going here and the pad Thai was ok. I wouldn’t order it again. It was sweet and no spice at all. The cocktails were great, but pricey. I will some other items on the menu next time.”
“Moved to area a few months ago the coffee in has the best coffee I've tried within about a 30 minute radius and during my travels past few years. The service is also wonderful, as well as the food. Delicious pastries and tasty sandwiches. Love the variety of options from drinks to food.If you're looking for high quality coffee that offers much more with a great atmosphere for sit in, then this is the place. A wonderful local place ran by some wonderful owners.”
“Long drive from central VA with a stop here before we headed back. No wait to sit outside. Quiet if a bit warm, but fans kept the air moving and the umbrellas blotted direct sunlight. The food was fabulous. Octopus as appetizer was fresh and not spongy (as it can be if not fresh or if cooked poorly). Branzino in parchment paper was herbaceous and well-seasoned with tomato that enhanced the flavor more than it overpowered it. Wedge salad was unexpectedly filling and large. Dessert special of panna cotta was shared over a cappuccino. Really, though, the reason why we'll be coming back is the waitstaff. I could not have asked for better service.”
“What an awesome, cozy spot, especially if you want to be away from a big crowd but still enjoy good food and drinks. We had a great conversation with the owner and workers. Everyone was friendly and had great customer service skills. Oh, the bourbon selection is awesome!”
