local favorite, this feels like it needs a Michelin star but it has the prices of a mom and pop restaurant. Everything from the appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts make it a place I’ll go out of my way to come back to when visiting.”

“The food is outstanding! All made fresh and so delicious. Family owned and very friendly. The calamari was perfectly cooked and had a beautiful dusting as opposed to a heavily breaded crust. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful. We’ve sat both outside in the relaxing courtyard and inside the casual restaurant. This restaurant beats the food at Old Town’s Greek restaurants. Highly recommend this place!!”

“This is my go to coffee spot and you really can’t beat the price. Even when I add oat milk to my lattes my total is usually around $5.50- much cheaper than most coffee shops in the area. I love the brown butter toffee and the blueberry cobbler lattes. Some of the workers definitely make the lattes better than others- on a one off occasion my latte tasted like nothing as if they didn’t put any of the flavored syrups in. Their strawberry lemonade is also very good! In terms of sandwiches, I love the chunky dunk and my boyfriend is a big fan of the club sub- even claiming it’s the best sandwich he’s ever had. Ive been coming to this spot since they were a little shack down the street- I love it!”

“Bar J chili Parlor is a great stop in Occoquan to eat and chill! Chips were good sauce was good too with a spicy aftertaste. I enjoyed a delicious cheesy, onion, shredded chicken quesadilla that I dipped in guacamole 🥑 we also had chicken tenders which were good, the atmosphere overlooking the bay was awesome and our server Nate was GREAT!”

“Are you tired of eating the same few cuisine all the time? Sushi and burger and the usual? Well, venture out and try Ethiopian food.

1. Reservation: recommended if you are coming on Friday or Saturday.

2. Food: very good
- Enjara: the bread made of teff. it is very unique and it was my first time trying it and I loved it
- collared green was good
- yellow split beans were excellent options for vegetarion dish
- red lentils were unique in seasoning.

3. Drinks
they have full bar, mixed drinks and beer and wine options are available.

4. Service: very nice and welcoming

5. Extra: they serve their Ethiopian drink Tej is an aded bonus, it is nothing like I know. Technically a honey-wine.

6. They have LIVE MUSIC!
call and check with them. Artists usually come on Saturdays. Cannot wait to check them out.

“Chicken Fried Rice from this restaurant is causing me to reevaluate Chicken Fried Rice from every other restaurant I frequent for Chicken Fried Rice. As far as my palate is concerned, they have raised the bar. And the Bangkok Beef Stew is spectacular.”

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.”

“Great food and service we were at the Woodbridge Virginia location celebrating the end of our daughter radiation therapy treatment and we had Amanda as a waitress wonderful service and then they congratulated us and didn't charged us for the full meal. Not about the money but we still have love ❤ out there.”
