We got some food at this restaurant and it was wonderful, everything was cooked perfectly. I really liked the appetizers we got, and the main dishes were even better.Kid-friendliness: Waiters were all very nice and polite.
Dinner started out strong. The French onion soup is good and paired well with a Belgian ale. The Brew Ha Ha mussels were great, but I wish they served better bread. The steak frites was the most disappointing. The cut is thin and was overcooked in the middle, and yet somehow the chef developed almost no browning/crust on the exterior. Had a wonderful meal today with friends at Cock & Bowl Belgian Bistro Historic Occoquan, VA. Food was AMAZING and the owner was too, very friendly and took the time to sit and chat with us...great guy!!! Wasn't expecting the food to be all that great, but was pleasantly surprised. It was FANTASTIC!!! We had the Brie & Fig Delight for our starter, then 2 Croque Madames and a Belgian Waffle...sooo delish!!! Will definitely be back again to try their other dishes. Highly recommend!!!
