The sandwich with the red sauce 8.8/10 nice healthy pieces of chicken, the Mac and cheese 9.2/10 the top was nice and crispy and the cheese was super creamy. Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! Yeah I plan on returning to try 3 more random items from the menu”

“I've been coming to Buffalo Philly's for over 10 years now. I used to go often enough that the gentleman that opened the store knew my order when he saw my face.

Buffalo Philly's used to be my favorite cheesesteak place not only in Woodbridge, but anywhere. Unfortunately, I think management has changed in the past few years and they're simply not as good anymore. I haven't seen the (previous) owner, the guy that was from Toronto, in years.

I can't always put my finger on what the problem is. I'm not sure if they get their meats from a different vendor these days, or if it's the fact that they just put the cheese on the bread and the meat on top, instead of mixing the cheese with the meat while cooking, but something about this place just isn't there anymore. The mozzarella sticks and curly fries and cheese wiz don't seem to have the same pop that they used to, also.

Not to say Buffalo Philly's is bad. It's still better than a lot of standard Cheesesteak spots, but the fact that this was my absolute favorite and it took a step down just makes me sad.”

We had a couple minute wait for our outside table. There were 3 of us and we ordered drinks and appetizers to share. Desi was our server. She was attentive and cheerful (not annoyingly so). The Bang Bang Shrimp, Potstickers and my favorite Ahi Tuna Wontons were wonderful! Cocktails as well! We all had been regulars up to about 18 months ago as the service was atrocious. So glad NYAJ is back. This is my 2nd visit in a month. Will be back soon. Kudos to the new manager and staff. Keep it up!”

There is only one other place in Woodbridge where you can get Korean food, and I prefer Dosirock. Try it. I think you'll like it. Rocky”

Wanted the turkey (happy place) a drink and a scone. I get my meal and there is no turkey on it. So I got back and explained I wanted the turkey happy place. He said no you ordered the "our happy place". I said sir I even pointed to what I wanted on the menu. I didn't realize there were two items with the same name. He said that is your fault and you should know the menu. I said we'll I had let you know prior it was my first time here. He said I don't care if it's your first or 3rd you should know the menu. He said I'm not going to remake it., that's what you ordered. I said I would of never order anything with spinach because I'm allergic to it. He said so..I'm not remaking it! So not only did I have to wait a long time for thr sandwich, I couldn't eat it cause I was allergic to the ingredients. So I get back to my office hungry and upset to realize he didn't put the scone I paid for in thr bag. So I call and he says oh next time I will give it to you. No apology or anything. ..and next time, I paid for it this time. Very rude to new customers and would never spend my money there again. I don't understand why he was so rude. You think you would want to retain customers so they will do repeat visits.”

After about 4 attempts calling I finally got through and was informed my purse had been found and I could pick it up the same night. My husband got there about 2 minutes before 10 PM and was handed my purse with all its contents intact. I am so impressed with the honesty and caring manner in which this situation was handled. “The first time we went here we weren't impressed. However, one of the owners reached out to us personally and invited us back. We have been back twice. They are awesome! The food is yummy and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly! Only downside is they now do not have fountain drinks (cans only) but I think that's just a sign of the time of living in a pandemic. Hopefully, when we return to a somewhat normal existence this will be back. Love Guapo's and highly recommend!”

“One of the best hidden gems in Woodbridge. I don't usually eat Indian food but this place definitely made me a big fan. Everything was so good and fresh, and the service was amazing. I ordered the Butter Chicken, rice, and garlic naan and it was all so delicious. I am definitely planning on ordering again!”

The lattes are excellent and creative—the Butter Beer is my favorite. I love their philosophy on flavoring: they start light because you can always add more, but you can’t take it away—i.e., salt when cooking.

The staff is incredibly accommodating, too, and cheerfully made one of their previous drinks that wasn't on the menu.

The prices are nicely reasonable, making it easy to get a great drink within your budget, and my husband loves their suitably priced pour-over options.

The atmosphere is light, clean, and beautifully minimal. As a parent with school-aged kids and a toddler, this calm space provides a true, low-stress retreat—emphasis on the treat.

While they have just three locations and offer franchising, they completely avoid that overwhelming corporate-chain color scheme that hides their logo everywhere and advertises their wares and new things on your path to order. Something I never realized was subconsciously exhausting until it was scaled to a minimum.

It's a welcoming, child-friendly, local spot. So very glad it's not another copy and paste coffee place.”

Ordered flautas and a torta. Both were delicious. Flautas perfectly crispy, beans were really good. Great presentation and a very good portion. My friend loved her sandwich as well. Sauces were varied in spice level so something for everyone.

“Several of us came in for lunch on a weekday and they were completely dead when we got there around noon. The dining was empty and it was rather cold inside too, then again it was snowing outside, so maybe that’s the reason for them not being busy and it being cold. The lady who helped us was friendly and was very helpful with the menu, which was very nice.

Their menu is interesting… it’s one of these Middle Eastern places with so many items on the menu that they feel the need to try to appeal to so many that they have Italian along with Pakistani and Indian/Afghan – this is NOT ideal, please don’t do this! You’re Pakistani, Indian, Afghan, etc – stick to that food, don’t try to sell everything for the extra business, it doesn’t appeal to those of us who seek the authentic experience and food, but nonetheless, I gave them a try and I’m glad I did because all the food we ordered (everything in Pakistani style, since I’m Pakistani and I appreciate when this food is done right) was pretty darn good!

We start with veggie pakora and veggie samosa, the pakora was spot-on perfect! The chickpea dough was seasoned perfectly and these tasted great! The samosa’s dough was incorrect, like pie dough, but the filling was great!

The entrées were pretty good – We tried beef chapli kabob – a little thin, but packed with flavor. Their veggie biryani was folded properly into the curry and had the beautiful colors it’s supposed to have. Flavors were decent as well. Chicken Karahi, one of my favs was actually spot-on! The sweetness of the tomato in it was perfect alongside the tastiness of the curry – great dish! Channa (or choli, not sure what they call it there) was decent, but lacked the depth of “stewed down” flavor that I like from chickpea curry that’s done with dried beans, this tasted/resembled canned chickpeas. Aloo Pollak was decent, but lacked that deep flavor that I love about saag or even a well-seasoned potato (aloo). As for their naan, it was GREAT! Nice texture, denseness, and doneness. I always ask for my naan to be non-cut and no grease, butter, ghee – I HATE this culture of putting that nasty, greasy stuff on naan, roti, or chipati – must be an American thing, because I don’t recall ever having this as a kid in Pakistan.

Bottom line – Very nice experience. They have tons on the menu and though I might not have though everything was absolutely perfect, 100% of the things I ordered were totally acceptable, flavorful, and when served with other dishes would make for a very nice meal. I’m not sure while this place has such poor reviews, possibly because they’re trying too hard by serving Italian food when they’re not Italian and they have no business doing this. Either way – stop in for decent Pakistani food, I definitely appreciated my visit.”
