Delicious food and wonderful customer service.
Today was my first time here & definitely will not be my last. I ordered the asa goulash…..soo good. They service was great & the young lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful. 🙏🏾
I tried out Abugida Ethiopian Cuisine and I am so glad I did. I ordered the 8 veggie sampler and each dish was so flavorful. Everything was delicious. The injera was fantastic. I am sure I could eat my weight in that injera. I also ordered sambusas that were just as delicious as all the other dishes. I ordered take out but the next time I will dine in. The restaurant is cozy. I love the bright walls and inspirational quotes. I look forward to the coffee ceremony next time also....read full review

Betaneya Ethiopian Restaurant is a cozy and authentic spot offering very reasonably priced and tasty Ethiopian food. The decor is warm, stylish, and full of personality, creating a welcoming atmosphere that is sometimes enhanced by live jazz music. The menu has lots of options for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians, with popular choices being the veggie and meat platters. Dishes like the awaze tibs, kitfo, chicken, beef, greens, beets, and lentils are cooked perfectly and seasoned super well, with some noting the food is less salty than other establishments. The kitfo is described as incredibly fresh, perfectly spiced, and unforgettable. For vegetarians, there are veggie combo plates like the 5-item or 8-item combo, which are great for sharing. The injera served is notably white, and imported injera is available for an extra charge. The service is good, and the baklava dessert is to die for—flakey with a perfect level of sweetness. It is a top contender among local Ethiopian restaurants, leaving a lasting impression on both enthusiasts and first-time visitors.
