Abugida is the BEST Ethiopian restaurant in the DMV. The food, customer service, and atmosphere are superb!! The owner, Yabi, has created a dining experience that will make you feel that you've left the US and landed in someone's home in Ethiopian. I am a regular and I've recommended Abugida to my family and friends as well.Abugida is centrally located and close to Quantico, Dumfries, Occoquan, Stonebridge, Potomac Shores, Lakeridge, Dale City, Ft. Belvoir and less than an hour away from DC. Ample parking.Starting in April, Abugida will host cooking classes to the public. This restaurant is really an experience to remember , The place has a cozy nice feel and atmosphere , The people are very nice and the food is amazing , I got the Abugida Tibs and it was wonderful , They don't use utensils here but instead they use bread and it is very nice to eat like that , The waiter was very kind and was great , The place is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone!Vegetarian options: There is a whole area for vegetarian options and there are quite a few selections for the vegetarians!

This food was GOOD.Like, everything was prepared to order. Nothing was pre-made and swimming in some sauce and simply reheated to order. The food was fresh and tasted amazing.They literally roast the coffee beans to order for their imported Ethiopian coffee. You can watch them roast the beans for your order. Ethiopian coffee is known internationally, so snagging a chance to drink it is highly recommended.They also have a family recipe dish that is titled after Manchester United. It is REALLY good. A little spicy, but probably equivalent to a standard hot wing spice level.The decor is absolutely beautiful and the chairs are comfy. Just it could get a bit too dark at night, which was when I went.
