“The BEST Mexican food truck in the area! It is super authentic and always fresh. The food is amazing but in particular they’re made to order tamales. You have to contact the owners wife and get a minimum of 12 either chicken, pork, or rajas but trust me it’s worth it!“

“The best tacos around the area without a doubt. As a Mexican, it is tough to find good tacos around here and we always prefer homemade. But these tacos are legit. The taste is authentic and simply to die for!🤤 The queso birria tacos with the consomé are amazing! The tortas and the consomé on its own are delicious as well. Everything is top tier. “Went in for lunch today. First the place was very clean. No greasy floors or tables. Even the salsa bar was clean!
Ordered flautas and a torta. Both were delicious. Flautas perfectly crispy, beans were really good. Great presentation and a very good portion. My friend loved her sandwich as well. Sauces were varied in spice level so something for everyone.
Great service! Would definitely go back.“

“The first time we went here we weren't impressed. However, one of the owners reached out to us personally and invited us back. We have been back twice. They are awesome! The food is yummy and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly! Only downside is they now do not have fountain drinks (cans only) but I think that's just a sign of the time of living in a pandemic. Hopefully, when we return to a somewhat normal existence this will be back. Love Guapo's and highly recommend!“

“I purchased almost everything on their menu, my family and I have tried their tacos de carne asada and pollo, torta de carne asada, and their quesadilla de birria. I have no complaints on the tacos or tortas. They tasted amazing. Their birria is a little saltier than I would want it to be. Their side of consome and rice is so delicious. I wouldn't mind going again just for tacos and tortas. I cant wait to try their steak and cheese subs. I'm looking forward to trying that next. I spent almost $50 wiht 2 quesdillas de birria, 3 tacos de carne asada, 3 de pollo, a torta de asada and a sidral. For that much food no complaints“

“I can confidently say Tacos El Costalilla has the BEST tacos in Woodbridge. Everything about this place is amazing. The service is always so friendly and the food comes out super fast, which I love.
They also have a self-serve topping bar, so you can load up your tacos exactly how you like them. I got the carne tacos and they were SO good, especially with a fresh piña juice on the side. You can really taste that all the drinks are made fresh.
My friend ordered the al pastor tacos and honestly… she said they were even better than the carne 😭 she also got the horchata and loved it.
I also tried a cheese pupusa and it was SO good. This is honestly the first place I’ve tried in the area that has both amazing tacos AND pupusas done right.
And to top it all off, I got a churro at the end (yes I was being big back 😂) and the lady made it fresh for me without me even having to ask. That alone made the experience even better.
I seriously love this place and will keep coming back. If you’re in Woodbridge and want real, flavorful tacos, you NEED to try it.“

“My husband and I are visiting the area but I grew up in Virginia so we are familiar with the area. We were looking for a Peruvian chicken experience. We found a delicious diverse menu full of Peruvian specialties at a super affordable price!
The waitstaff are extremely friendly and helpful. On the day of our visit there was a young lady preparing fresh fruit cups in front of restaurant.
Our purchase was 2 orders of El Tipico, 1 loroco pupusa, 1 ayote pupusa, half of a roasted chicken (for the drive home) and a 16oz fresh pink guava juice as well as a sweet fruity cashew drink called Maranon. We also snagged a watermelon cup on our way out.
The restaurant wasn’t very busy so I hope more people will visit and keep them in business. Our entire purchase was less than $60 which is unheard of in Northern Virginia. Definitely worth the visit! 👍👍“

“I was visiting from Boston and wanted to support a local Latino family-owned business, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the chori-pollo and, for the first time, tried the Jugo de Ensalada. Both were delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was incredibly quick. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.“

“Usually I'm not impressed with Taco Bell quality these days but Mallak and Arnov were very fast, paid attention to some specifics I had, and the meal was great. The food is always exceptionally well prepared, warm, delicious with extra care put into the presentation and quality when they're working. They also have amazing customer service, and are professional and friendly. I look forward to coming here and choose this location over all others in the area because of them. I wish more people aspired to the effort these two put in. Great work! Thanks, guys.“

“Good location. Very clean interior & bathrooms. I was passing through after traveling from DC and the gentleman at the front (I believe he was the manager) offered a free drink because he could see I was tired. The rest of the staff were also friendly and polite. Food was ready fast and it was hot. Chips were salty. No complaints“

“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“
