“The Bulgogi, spicy pork, al pastor and carne asada tacos were the best. The chorizo tacos were good, and so were the Gal bee. The carnitas and pork belly lacked flavor but the meat was cooked well. The complimentary chips and salsa was really good! The music was interesting. It was a mix of some slow covered R&B and some modern Mexican music. They kept switching the songs, which was kinda odd. Decent server, not above and beyond but not below average. I’d recommend this place to my friends.“

“One of the best pupusas in town. Definitely worst a visit if your in the Germantown area. I stop bye any chance I get. It's funny how they're inside a beer and wine store. So you can pick up beer and pupusas or any other goodie's they make.“

“I was very surprised by this restaurant! I only chose it because it was close to a work site that I had to do an after-hours project at! The ambiance is beautiful! Warm and authentic! The menu is rich and full of options Service and staff are very friendly! The bar seating was nice so I sat there and had a wonderful meal! I love the Molcajete, and it's a specialty that I think of it as difficult and not any restaurant can do and do it right! It was really good! On their menu, it's the Molcajete Mixto I also enjoyed the chorizo queso! I'll definitely go there again! “Gnachas! I had never heard of it and didn't know exactly what I was going to get. I read the description and it seemed good. What took me aback was that it said there was parmesan cheese and it definitely was NOT. Apparently this is a traditional Guatemalen dish, like a snack. I was SOO surprised that so much came on the plate. I thought it was an appetizer, so that was surprising. The red sauce was SUPER good also. I tried it on one tostada and then another. It came out warm and the veggies cool and fresh. Like coleslaw without the mayo. Definitely would want to come back and try another dish. I was in a rush, so I ordered the first thing that popped up. The service was great & F if you're looking for authentic, this is the spot!!“

“The music is entirely too loud. I have hearing loss and wear hearing aids, but I took them out in order to be comfortable enough to sit and eat. TURN IT DOWN!Food is hot and fresh as well as tasty. Employees are kind and work quickly and accurately.“

“We got our food to go since the place is on the small side but the food did not disappoint. The sopes were delicious and the torta chingona was amazing. The torta can definitely Can be shared with another person since it’s on the big side (I think it was obvious from the name) I’ll definitely return!“

“The interior is very cool, sever was courteous. Service is quick. When it comes to the food itself: I'm on the fence. We ordered several appetizers and main dishes; we liked some and not others. Because it's an Indian Mexican fusion place, the Indian flavors over power any Mexican ones. So, it's up to the customer's taste.“

“Banditos Tacos and Tequila was definitely a pleasant surprise. Despite it being a busy Friday night and not having a reservation, there was no wait for great booth seating - and the music was great.The Hamburger Nachos were scrumptious and were definitely shareable — the portion size was huge!! I went with the Quesadilla Marina for my main course & devoured it!! The Old Bay seasoned shrimp and cilantro claw were THE perfect combo with the Chihuahua cheese ?Our server was super duper attentive and checked in often to make sure we had enough water and also weren’t waiting to order anything else.“

“Food has always been very good. This was the first brunch foray and it did not disappoint. The plating illustrates how much pride they take in their food. It's not more pricey than the other Guapos I'm familiar with, but very much worth it. Let me stress how extraordinarily tasty the food is here and has been consistently over the last 4 years. You WILL love it. If you come for dinner, might I recommend the Seafood Enchiladas ? So good!“
