The waitstaff was attentive and walked us through the menu with recommendations.
The food was great it's was a found gem that was a pleasure
Really great service! Food was really good! Cruel summer was great!
Casual but full of life - this place was hopping both Friday and Saturday evenings (and yes, I know that because we went twice) - first night was just for drinks 🍹 they have a good martini list with some inventive concoctions - I had a variation on the bees knees and my husband opted for the espresso martini (his go to) both were well-balanced and went down way too easy! They have a pretty great whisky list too for being a wine bar with whisky flights if you are looking to try a few.
Fries were good but the real stars were the entrees which we went back for on Saturday - delicious crab cakes - not a spot of filler did I find - and the chicken pot pie was nice and peppery and flavorful!
Food and drinks were really very good, but the service honestly was even better - for one, they remembered us the second night and despite being extremely busy everyone was very attentive - I think it’s a place where you feel like you belong - which is not always easy to find ❤️ highly recommend for a nice, chill or even slightly romantic night out!
There are NO disappointments!
There are NO regrets!
There are NO lacks in deliciousness!
There is NO reason not to get to The Bottle Stop!
Well, the wine selection was nothing like what I am used to in California. When I said that the cost was 2x what I paid at Trader Joe’s in Monterey, they reminded me that wines came from California.
However, the wine in question was from New Zealand. Maybe someone can tell me why wine is so expensive in Maryland. I may switch to water!

Came for dinner and drinks with my brother and his wife. Have nothing but good things to say. We all got the special... Shrimp and Grits, which we all considered among the best we've had. One person at our table had a gluten dietary restriction and Jess, the chef, came out to personally explain the options. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating! Our waitress, Francesca, was similarly kind and knowledgeable. The cocktails were very well-done as well. Can personally recommend the Buzzed Socialite and the maple smoked old fashion.
Dietary restrictions: They did a great job with gluten free. Could make certain items with GF panko and had strong knowledge of individual ingredients.

Bottle Stop is a must if you are visiting Occoquan! The service never ceases to exceed my expectations. The service provided by the waitress, owner, and the staff that brought just our wine this past time were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I also brought my dog and she had a wonderful time sitting outside on the patio with us. The food and wine are all delectable! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit this hidden gem!

The food here is amazing. The Citrus Crusted Salmon was so good. The spinach and potatoes were cooked perfectly. Surprisingly, the burger was overcooked (someone else in our party had). The Artisan Cheese & Meat was excellent. Such a diverse range of flavors with garlic, mozzarella spread, honey, peppers, pickles and more. The wine selection is excellent. I've been twice and both times the food was excellent overall. I was surprised this time to have one of the meals be bad. I would still say the food is excellent. Service is less than great. It's good, just not great. Perhaps a bad day, perhaps just a fluke. Will definitely be back. The first picture is the Citrus Crusted Salmon. The second pic is the Shrimp & Grits (special at the time we were there)
Parking: Street parking is always available but may need to walk a block of two. Lots of shops to see so the walk is pleasant.
