servers there know nothing about wine and call themselves bartenders when they haven’t been behind a real bar but just drink at local ones
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend.

I took my mom and my Godmother here for lunch. We planned on going to another restaurant however we could not make it up the stairs to the other restaurant, so we decided to come here instead. They were extremely kind considering it was hot outside. They allowed us to come in a few mins before they opened to allow me to get the ladies out of the heat. The atmosphere is really open and the food was delicious! We all got the crab cakes. They were filled with crab cake lumps and did not have a lot of filler. The mac n cheese was out of this world! I highly recommend this place! 💕

Drink: lolea red sangria special $9- straight from Spain! It was delicious. Worth it! I should have got the bottle. $28. This establishment knows wine and cocktails! The temps on every drink, even the water, was perfectly chilled. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 5/5
Partner’s drink: dirty vodka martini w blue cheese olives 4/5⭐️, just the right amount of vermouth
Partner’s food: New York happy meal special $19 (martini and truffle fries) delicious! Fresh and crispy. 5/5 ⭐️
Food: lamb ragu w “fresh tagliatelle”. 3/5 pasta tastes frozen, not fresh.
Dessert: boozy affogato 4/5. The chocolate chunks were a plus!
Atmosphere: quaint, upper class, clean, overall good.
Service: slightly slow but bartender was busy, seemed distant/standoffish

The food was great it's was a found gem that was a pleasure
Really great service! Food was really good! Cruel summer was great!
Casual but full of life - this place was hopping both Friday and Saturday evenings (and yes, I know that because we went twice) - first night was just for drinks 🍹 they have a good martini list with some inventive concoctions - I had a variation on the bees knees and my husband opted for the espresso martini (his go to) both were well-balanced and went down way too easy! They have a pretty great whisky list too for being a wine bar with whisky flights if you are looking to try a few.
Fries were good but the real stars were the entrees which we went back for on Saturday - delicious crab cakes - not a spot of filler did I find - and the chicken pot pie was nice and peppery and flavorful!
Food and drinks were really very good, but the service honestly was even better - for one, they remembered us the second night and despite being extremely busy everyone was very attentive - I think it’s a place where you feel like you belong - which is not always easy to find ❤️ highly recommend for a nice, chill or even slightly romantic night out!

There are NO disappointments!
There are NO regrets!
There are NO lacks in deliciousness!
There is NO reason not to get to The Bottle Stop!
Well, the wine selection was nothing like what I am used to in California. When I said that the cost was 2x what I paid at Trader Joe’s in Monterey, they reminded me that wines came from California.
However, the wine in question was from New Zealand. Maybe someone can tell me why wine is so expensive in Maryland. I may switch to water!

Came for dinner and drinks with my brother and his wife. Have nothing but good things to say. We all got the special... Shrimp and Grits, which we all considered among the best we've had. One person at our table had a gluten dietary restriction and Jess, the chef, came out to personally explain the options. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating! Our waitress, Francesca, was similarly kind and knowledgeable. The cocktails were very well-done as well. Can personally recommend the Buzzed Socialite and the maple smoked old fashion.
Dietary restrictions: They did a great job with gluten free. Could make certain items with GF panko and had strong knowledge of individual ingredients.
