We were excited to go for a nice dinner and were sadly disappointed. For the price the food was not good. Mussel appetizer was not fresh, main course salmon was delicious but the accompaniments were bad, vegetables not cooked and jasmine rice was a congealed mess. Other meal of cod was good - but all was over- salted. On the upside, great wine, great atmosphere, live music was fun, and the servers were kind and apologetic.

This place is really good and the food is plentiful. I have been there many times for lunch and dinner. My husband and I went Friday night and it was hard to decide but I got the special of Pork Osso Buco. It was unctuous, my husbands favorite word to the dish, and it was delicious. So much food, that I had it for lunch today and after my husband nibbled on it and the dog also got a lovely bite. The soups are homemade and always delicious. Lunch and/or dinner does not disappoint. Lunch or dinner, you need to go. Reasonably priced also. Enjoy, this is my favorite restaurant on the shore.

This is such a gem of a restaurant. I went there last night, and it was excellent as usual. The service is always impeccable. We had a lovely wine, and the clams are the best on the shore. And we also had the crab ravioli special which was delicious. I have dined here many times, and feel fortunate to have such a wonderful restaurant so close to home. If you haven’t tried Bizzotto’s, you’re missing out. You really need to get in there.

Oh my goodness. The food was wonderful. I had the salmon. The bread was excellent. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. Our amazing waitress, Victoria, capped off a delightful meal. See you next time I'm in Onancock!

The ffod overall was competent to a bit above average. The service was abysmal. As titled - it took 1.5 hours for the appetizr to arrive. Mussells - which take 10-12 minutes to steam. Perhaps they had to make the broth?? It's a popular dish, good enough in fact to take the broth home (they even offer a container, knowing people do) but you'd think some might be on hand. Waitress clueless when it came to drinks - she had to look things up on her phone, and these were not complicated ("what's a virgin mary?"). 2 of the entrees were a notch or two better than average, one arrived with stone cold veg accompaniment, 2 average and one largely uneaten because the once hungry diner had made a meal of bread due to and hour and a half of of boredom. The place went from moderately busy to not at all during this tine frane and one shattered balloon wiine glass by a stressed or perhaps just inexperienced server. Apologies for the wait, but not comp, and we won't be revisiting. (Several of the party are locals, so it's lost business)
