“We’re staying at the Bar Harbor KOA right down the road from the restaurant. We tried it out for lunch today, and everything was delicious! We had the cheese curds as an appetizer and the blackened haddock sandwiches for our main courses. We loved everything! Very fresh food and great service as well!“

“Incredible place to dine at for wonderful food , good company and more plenty of tvs to watch the games. It also has a wonderful front patio, to enjoy meals or just hang out. I highly recommend The Green Tree!“

“When I arrived for the first time and my companions told me there was nothing on the menu that wasn't excellent I was skeptical. Now after my second visit and seeing half a dozen different dishes at our tables I know they were absolutely correct. Food was tremendous, staff was amazing, atmosphere was exactly what you would want. 5*, highly reccomend. No better local option!“

“We had a great meal—the ceviche was delicious, and both the chicken wings and carne asada were excellent. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the food; our server seemed overwhelmed and we were overlooked for a while. I hope they can improve the staffing or pace, as the kitchen is clearly doing a fantastic job.“

“Exactly what it says on the tin — a roadside wine, beer, and barbecue spot — and it delivers. The barbecue had just the right amount of spice, and the pickles had a nice kick to them too. Beans were excellent. The mac and cheese was creamy and plenty cheesy without being heavy, which is harder to pull off than people think. Nice space to eat out back as well. My wife and I will be returning.
Good portions, great prices. If you're driving Route 9, stop in.“
