In the area this is pretty good pizza. The employees are always friendly and professional.Their garlic knots are very good.Overall I recommend Sal's.

Solid place, but very average food. Wonderful waitress, but she was not very present. For example, no refills on coffee offered. Long wait at register to pay...For was veal marsala. It was watery, more like soggy breaded slices in soup.Staffing is tight, so that's probably the reason.

Visiting from New Jersey which I consider to be the pizza capital of the US. This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in years. Crisp yet doughy and light. Great tasting sauce and incredible service. 10/10

Sal's was such a nice surprise! We loved this little gem tucked into Lake Monticello. The food is delicious and the server was friendly and fun. My husband and I are now regulars!

There are a lot of Sal’s Italian restaurants in the regional Virginia area and this is another one. I got dinners to go but got a good look at the ambiance, very local.Food is good. Well put together. Pizza rolls very good. Chicken parm ok.Good comfort food when you don’t want to cook. Not recommended for a special night out.

The booths are cramped and our waitress today was inattentive (busy on the other side of the dining room or in the kitchen, maybe?), but the food is always good, so we keep coming back.

Absolutely phenomenal food!! Came here with 6 family members and all of us loved our food! I had the Seafood Fettuccine and it was, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. The wine was also fantastic! Renee was very nice and very attentive. We never had to wait for anything. We will absolutely eat here again!!

We were in from out of town and our friends wanted us to eat here. We were not disappointed. My wife had eggplant parmesan and I had sausage with peppers. Both were good. The garlic knots that came with the meals was good as well. We shared a bottle of wine and had a good time. The only negative was my Caesar salad had no dressing on it.
