Quality sit down dining options are nonexistent in Fluvanna County; not a white table cloth to be seen. Gia comes close to providing that option with a huge menu, but is really just an expanded pizza place.We had curiously flavorless Chicken Marsala and Gia's version of Chicken Picata. Meatballs were just acceptable. House salads were crisp and fresh. First time trying their food for takeout dinner I was told 15-20 mins on the phone it took 15-20. Hostess/cashier was very friendly nice personality chelsea I believe we went to high school together . Drove about an hr with stops home to finally be able to eat. Let me tell you BEST Italian food around we ordered chicken parmigiana and chicken marsala BOTH wonderful cooked to perfection yes I know simple east meals but also very easier to mess up. I have ordered takeout from here a couple times as well as eaten in the restaurant. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, the staff is friendly and attentive, the food is good but not great. Some of their menu items tend to be greasy, such as the Marsala. I typically stick to pastas that are served with their meat sauce. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.
