This is my go to place to stay when I am horseshowing in Middleburg. I come and stay about 3-4 times a year for last three years. It makes me feel at home and is such a great place to retreat to after the show. Everything from the rooms, to the service and staff, and the restaurant experience are five star all the way. I have now stayed in the main house and in the school house which I also loved. It’s a great location. I also love being greeted in the restaurant by familiar...
What an amazing fine dining retreat to find in the Virginia Country side! Stephen was amazing. We added the wine pairing and it was the best! We have had a lot of misses with wine pairings but they really did it well. The timing of the wine service and the paring with the food was spot on.

I really enjoyed the food here. The fried chicken was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor, with a deliciously seasoned coating and tender meat inside. The portions were generous, and everything looked freshly prepared and appetizing. The overall quality and taste were excellent, and I was genuinely satisfied with my meal. I would happily come back again and recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys flavorful, crispy chicken.
