This spot is my go-to for crabs! They always have heavy females, and they don’t skimp on quality. The folks working here are super friendly and really put in the effort—just good, honest, hard-working people. If you’re into seafood, definitely check them out!

Bumbay has the best snow crabs and seasoning in town. Definitely going back next week for more snow crabs and shrimps. They also had a special going on this week for blue crabs but I opted for snowcrabs and shrimp. My kids loved it and gave it 12/10.

Went to pick up bushels of crabs the other day and they were just unloading their fresh crabs. Perfect timing! I was able to get three bushels for our annual company crab fest and everyone raved about the freshness. It was so good and so much better than the place we picked up from last year. 40 minute drive was well worth it. Lady there was also very nice. I’ll definitely be going back in the near future!

Ordered three dozen #1 males while we were in town. These were some of the best crabs we’ve gotten in the past. Crabs were heavy and they tasted so fresh. We were so impressed and went back for a whole bushel the next day. Amazing crabs for amazing price. I will be coming here every time we are in town.
I traveled from Boston to Petersburg for a wedding, Went to Bumbay to get some crabs to bring back to Boston, I was gonna get the 2 half bushells of male and 1 half bushell of females, I was about to pay, when a customer in the store told me the males the same size as the females when I asked to see the size of the male crabs, the lady at the desk would not show me the males, she proceeded to bring me the female. I again asked to see the males, she refused, so I said give me 3 half bushells of females, then she say I only have one half bushell of females, like trying to force me to buy the males, my card already was in the credit card machine but I never authorized the transaction I actually told her dont cash me out till i see the male crabs, which she did never show me, i left there and went up the street to get my crabs from grayson seafood where I paid 292.13 i'm just looking at my statement and this lady charged me $262.60 for some crabs I never got, I will be reporting this to.my bank, and I will be back in Petersburg and if i dont get my money back before my trip the end of this month. I'm going right to Bumbay I want my money back, how you take somebody money like that. I'm sure her and and I guess it was her husband will remember me and my husband. Here is my bank record showing they charged me. Bumbay I hope yall fix this cause I aint got 262.60 to give yall, I work.hard for my money and I need my money back asap

The other day I gave this restaurant a very low review on the shrimp that I received. Today after they read my review and knew that I was not pleased with my order, they called me to come in and corrected it with a brand new order of shrimp, free of charge. Now this is what I call, “Good Customer Service!”

Great price for steamed crabs! Such a friendly family running the establishment. I usually cook my crabs at home but they also do a wonderful job. Highly recommend for crabs!
