The pies are fresh and delicious! You would think that he had an old Southern Grandmother baking in the back. The only problem you'll have is trying to decide which pie or cake etc. to buy! My advice: be prepared to buy at least two; three if you plan on sharing with anyone! I promise they will try to take at least half of your pie! A definite A+. I don't know where you could go to purchase a comparable pie anywhere except someone's grandmother!

My sister and I stopped her for brunch and the food was so good! The waffles were so good it was confusing and the cheesecake, *chefs kiss*.The service was warm and hospitable and the presentation was lovely. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming, the baked goods here are delicious. There is always a good variety of choices of their in house made sweets. The breakfast I had here was not particularly inspiring but it was solid and filling. Service at Burnette's Baked Goods is very good. I would subtract a star because the location has limited hours open but at the same time, a family run business has to have time for the family that runs it, too!

We stopped by Burnette's on our way back to New York from Florida and ordered the catfish plate & chicken fingers. They were the best chicken fingers my boyfriend ate in a long time and the catfish was fried to perfection. I loved the fries and collard greens. I can't wait for our next road trip so we can have the chance to stop by again. It is a 3 minute drive off 95 so it is a really easy stop to make, and is well worth it. Thank you for the great food & service Burnette's!

The chicken and waffles are on point!!! Glad they’re in old towne! Service was outstanding! The owner himself waited on my mother and I and he was great. Very attentive and friendly and made us feel welcome right away. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others!

My boyfriend and I ate lunch here today and took some baked good to-go. Everything tasted great and service was quick and friendly. I tried the chocolate chess pie when I got home, and it is hands down some of the best pie I've ever eaten! I can't wait to try the other items we brought home, and will definitely be back for more.
