IYKYK - there is nothing like cajun cooking. That is one of the things that is so great about New Orleans. I had gator bites and blackened chicken on pasta. The seasoning for each was out of this world. Ever the waitress had green fingernails which matched the festive Mardi Gras themed decor. It was a great experience all the way around. I highly recommend going here. The next time I travel for business in the area I definitely want to go back.

Great out door bar and food area. But the service sucked. Saw some people walk out because they never got service.We too waited way to long for our drinks.One of the bathrooms was way over flowing with trash. I tried to help. Then they messed up our drink order. Tried to help. Wouldn't recommend.

Poor customer service. Tried to order food for take out young lady answering the phone hung up on me after leaving me on hold for 5 minutes. I tried calling back over 20 times but no answer. Found another restaurant to eat at. Family came down from Georgia we wanted to try something new and different. It was their lost It was a group of 10.

This is truly the best patio vibe in the area! There's a big raised stage now for live entertainment and a great sound system. We were seated near the outdoor bar and the music was loud enough to get your body moving, but not too loud that you couldn't talk with the other folks at your table. As the crowds are returning to pre-Covid levels, the staff -- especially the new staff -- is trying hard to be efficient and and accommodating. Please be patient and kind!If you're new in town, I invite you to come check it out for a little mixing and mingling. The staff and patrons are very friendly and welcoming. I guarantee you'll make a new friend or two before you leave!

This place is amazing! If you haven’t been here yet you absolutely need to. Staff are very friendly, food comes fast and most importantly it is DELICIOUS. First night we got chicken and waffles and came back the next day to get the same thing because we couldn’t stop thinking about it. Don’t let downtown Petersburg scare you off, this place is a must visit.

There was only 1 woman running the bar and waiting on the tables. Torri was outstanding and we didn't wait a long time for our appetizers and meals. We had the alligator bites and boudian balls. We both had crawfish etouffe. We really enjoyed both. We have been looking for an authentic Cajan restaurant. The food was very close to what we ate at my husbands family in Louisiana. We finished up with the confession cake and it was amazing. We will be back!

Read the real story belowI was so excited to try this place out, I lived in New Orleans and was craving some good ole fashioned Cajun Food, but boy oh boy, the deplorable management quickly ruined that illusion. Let me preface this by saying that I do NOT believe in the adage of "the customer is always right." I was so stoked to order and started off with some beer reminiscent of the Big Easy, unfortunately, it was not a good batch. Still being at 3/4, I asked what my options were, not trying to pull one over, just trying to compromise, because, the beer was warm and not good. I was hoping to switch out for something else, but this poor excuse of a server sarcastically says, "well, you already drank over half" (I don’t believe she knows fractions well) but anyway, NO. I. Did. Not!!You know how you can tell this place lacks in customer service and hospitality, because any company worth their salt know that's its best to sometimes swallow their pride and appease the customer i.e. costco or Amazon. Often times you find the words, "If you are unsatisfied for any reason, we will gladly refund your order," but not here and not with entitled Karen at the helm. I asked to speak with a manager and in a prideful manner, Karen replies, "I'm one of the managers," No ma'am, YOUR MANAGER. Shortly thereafter, another guy comes out, hoping to be civil, this guy just wants to hear himself talk and we get nowhere. I asked my friends, do you guys wanna go?? Karen, interjects, "you guys can go if you want." *Karen it was an A and B conversation,* nonetheless, I just wanna eat some good cajun food, instead ran into a hostile environment. So, I did not sign the check because I did not agree with the purchase. I will also press charges if they charge my card. Boy if they come on here to argue, what an example of poor service and a case in point.Of course everyone is a hero in their own story, so I wonder how they will spin this in their gossip.I just wanted some good cajun, but they missed the mark on Southern HospitalityOwner, I know you take their side and I'm just one person, but this was simply not right.

Me and my family came to have Sunday brunch and it was such a good time. Our waitress Tori was so polite and attentive. All her recommendations were exactly how she described them this place was pretty busy and she was working very hard to ensure Everyone was taken care of. The food was cooked to perfection and portions were great for The price. We definitely will be back again.

I didn't order it, but I witnessed it being served... make room for something called confession cake.
