Was greeted when we sat down, but it took15 minutes before we were acknowledged again and another 5 before our order was taken, food was good though. The two things we came for they were out of and there was no sweet or unsweetened tea.

I don't understand how every booth in this restaurant isn't full.

This will undoubtedly be my go-to brunch spot. The server is attentive and welcoming. The food was made with love, it was flavorful, and it came in a good portion size.

Food was awesome best breakfast ever

Food was good, service time VERY SLOW. Took over 1 hour to get food. Phone orders should not be expedited over dine-in customers.

The waiter was friendly, but the food took waaaaay to long. I was on my 4th refill of coffee before the food had arrived. I wasn't in a hurry but like I stated, the food took a long time.

The food at this location was great. Unfortunately, the service and wait time was not satisfactory. It took us over an hour to get our food delivered to us. When asked when the food would arrive we got no response. During our visit we encountered five pairs leaving the facility due to them not even getting menus in their hands. Like stated excellent food, but the customer service is extremely poor.

Best breakfast I've ever had in a restaurant. The definition of a home cooked meal.

I recently visited History Breakfast & Brunch and was completely blown away! This cozy, inviting spot is full of warmth and charm, with walls adorned in amazing artwork that beautifully reflects the local, untapped history of the area. The farm-to-table food is exceptional—you can taste the freshness and quality in every bite. From fluffy pancakes to mouth-watering French toast, a perfect omelette, and the best home fries ever, everything was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was just as impressive; the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food, taking time to share stories behind some of the ingredients and dishes. If you’re a brunch lover or just looking for a unique place to start your day, History Breakfast & Brunch is an absolute gem. Great food, local culture, and an unforgettable atmosphere—I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent breakfast, friendly wait staff in a small, unique setting. A family business, not a fast food place, so don't come if you are in a hurry. We found it well worth the wait.

Here’s the pros:

The breakfast is hot and flavorful. The place feels homey in my opinion. Reminds me of a small town ran down kind of restaurant and typically those are the best known for taking care of their customers and cleanliness of the place. The history is in fact included on the walls which is pretty cool!

Here’s the cons:

What I see is a frustrated business owner that needs help. I understand it’s a family business, but you need more people to handle the capacity of even just this small restaurant. If you don’t wanna expand, fine but make a little room when you can somehow. Lastly, I asked for my favorite drink, chocolate milk and the owner said they didn’t have any. Fine, but take it off of your menu. You know what you consistently do and don’t have and if chocolate milk isn’t one of em, take it out of the price book. I would even go as far as saying update those binder menus because what’s in there needs to match up with what’s available. Not to mention he wasn’t super attentive. I asked for grits and didn’t get any but it took so long to get my updated drink after I asked for one I didn’t even bother correcting/reminding him.

The son is more welcoming than the father/owner. Maybe we walked in on a bad day. What I do know is, that while running a business is not easy, how you greet your customers and make them feel is sometimes more important than the food or correlates to how people taste your food - food for thought lol.

My experience:

My husband raved about how good the food was. And he was right! Experience…eh. I would go again but get my stuff to go!

Food was very delicious. I rode around searching for breakfast & this place popped up in my google search. Such great reviews I had to try it. I’m so glad I did!! I’m ready to go back to try something different on the menu.
