One, the food was amazing! I got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and it was on par with any that I have had from NY style places in the state. Two, if you're not sucked in by the food, you will be by the service. They go above and beyond in being kind people, even asking if I wanted a drink while I waited for my togo order. Since I got food to go, and they were doing some renovating, I can't completely evaluate the atmosphere, but it seemed perfectly lovely from what I could tell.

The food was good but my mother almost died because of it we told the waitress we were deadly allergic to mushrooms and they said okay then the wait was 1 hour even though they said it was 30-40 wait time. Then when we got our food we asked if there was any mushrooms and the guy said no and he looked worried but we shrugged it off and then when my mom was done she started to swell so we had to get her her medication to help her. She couldn't breath so we almost called 911. It was load too.

Honestly, the food tastes amazing was presented very professionally. Wait was longer than any other restaurant but it was worth the wait. I ordered the chorizo omelette and I I'm usually picky with my chorizo but it was BUSSING. Solid 9.5. What I would say that this is a sleeper restaurant, due to exterior appearance, I couldn't really tell if it was a restaurant or not but I strongly recommend this restaurant for brunch ‼
Great food and service! Get the grits and potatoes too - amazing! The food looks just like the pictures

This breakfast place was so yummy! Mom and I both ordered the strawberry French toast platter. We both got grits (delicious!) over easy eggs (cooked perfectly) and one each bacon and sausage (so good!). The French toast was awesome with the homemade strawberry sauce drizzled on top (you can really tell the difference). Our server was the chefs son, friendly and polite. He was so proud of the family restaurant and mentioned to us more than once that his mom made everything from scratch. I hope my son speaks about me the same way one day! We will be back for sure to bring the whole family. Thank you for a great meal!

I am glad to have gotten to try this restaurant in Petersburg. My niece happened to request a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich at 1:30pm and a quick Google search brought us here. She was happy with her birthday meal and it looked good. The food was slow to arrive (which happens). We waited a little over 30 minutes to get it. My order was wrong - I ordered French toast and got pancakes, bacon and got sausage. It wasn’t a huge problem and we didn’t say anything. The scrambled eggs with cheese were not great (might just be I didn’t like the liquid eggs they used), the sausage was okay but a bit dry, the pancakes were pretty good, and the home fries were good. The server was very nice and checked on us regularly. He even made my niece a cran-apple juice mix so she could try something new. There is no reason not to frequent this place if you are looking for a new brunch spot to try, but manage your expectations. They were out of many items by the time we ordered, but I do understand that this can happen with a small local restaurant trying to manage a food budget.Kid-friendliness: No kid menus. Portions are huge.

The breakfast here is absolutely delicious! The food is made to order and is so fresh. The strawberry pancake platter was a hit. The home fries are some of the best I have ever had. Service was also exceptional. Definitely a place where you need to eat when in Petersburg!
