This was my first time eating at this place and it was great. For a slow Friday afternoon there were only a few other people who dined at the same time as us. I got the pork belly with steamed white rice and chose the recommended side of kimchi. I got to try a little bite before diving in, as I have never had it before! All 3 in one bite is amazing and what a great taste. The meat was flavorful and the kimchi is tangy with a bit of a kick. Love it! Next time I come I'll have to try their drinks.

If you love Hibachi, you will like Konran.Konran serves mostly Japanese style dishes but not authentic. Simple menu focus on Hibachi. We had Tempura Vegetables for appetizer. Even though the tempura was not your typical tempura from a Japanese restaurant, but it tasted pretty good, the dipping sauce made it even better. I ordered the Pork Belly under House Special. Thinly sliced pork belly meat was seasoned and cooked crispy, it was served with white rice and a side of Mixed Vegetables. The pork belly was delicious and the vegetables were cooked well. I don’t believe that I had anything like it. It was definitely a unique way cooking the pork belly. My mom had a bowl of Shoyu Ramen with Pork. It was the same Pork Belly that I had in my dish. The Ramen and the soup hit the spot, but it was nothing special.The service was worth of mentioning. Our waiter Thomas was very nice.The restaurant was decorated tastefully.

Great food and service. It is not a traditional hibachi place where they look in front of you, but they do have hibachi. The bulgogi is good, has some heat/spice to it but not too bad. Recommend the salad, crab Rangoon, soup, bulgogi and hibachi dishes. Would go back!
