Perfect! I read the reviews and was kind of hesitant. But I had the best experience. Ordered the egusi (vegetarian) and fufu. The order was ready when I got there. Atmosphere was comfortable, and the people were polite. I will most def. be back! :)

I ordered an Oxtail meal that was $21.00 and the rice was hard the Oxtail was a bone a baby spoon of cabbage, the curry chicken $18.00 meal just nasty, I thought when they wrapped the to go containers in plastic, I thought for the food want waste out, No its so you want check it the said part is I can cook all of that ten times better and I am american. Thats on me being lazy, Its very quiet in there Why no customers. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN MY FIRST AND LAST TIME!!

Soup poorly packaged and no vegetables. Paid for soup, but barely anything left. Fufu was still dough - inedible.
I contacted the restaurant and will do nothing to rectify. We will never eat there again.

Have visited this establishment for 2yrs. great food, cause i love the difference from the regular eating habits. Attempted to call in an order for the first time in 2yrs he made me feel that because i asked 2 questions about the menu items, he didn't have the time and i should come in and place my order. nonsense,

Atmosphere is muggy and dingy, dirty tables everywhere and filthy plates sitting long after customers left. The jallof rice was very bland tasted very acidic and almost like ketchup was the only ingredient in the “pepper sauce”, the plantains were way over ripe, but the chicken and goat meat was fine. The suya was boiled and not grilled or fried served with blanched onions and suya spice thrown on top of it while served hot in a styrofoam container alongside my meal that came out on a hot plate. 🤢The service was minimal and the cashier was rude when asked about the preparation method for the suya(that I’ve had many times here in the states and back in Africa) Very mediocre and bland for African food. 1/10

The egusi with beef and fufu was amazing. It was my first time having any food like this and i was blown away with the spice and flavors together. The restaurant itself inside is so cute and inviting. Will definitely go back!!!! Love love love ❤️🖤💚
Food lacks flavor, but you can taste the spice. Almost like its sitting on top of the food. The meat was so tough I had to shake it like a pitbull to bite it. They wont do refunds if you don't like it or the quality isn't good. Which would be ok if they replaced it with something of equal value. If not you just have to accept it they will not refund the difference. Jollof rice is dry with no flavor also. I spent $72 on small portions of egusu, oxtails and jollof rice w/ beef. I had similar issues the first time I tried it and decided to give her a second chance. I will not be returning.

Those is greedy people, we called them to order some food for the first time and we paid more then $135 for a little portion of food , as we already asked them to take care with the order because we were hungry , but all we get is was some bones with soup ,
i didn't check the reviews and the pictures of the of others people until now which make me more disappointed with what we received and if i would count it as orders barely it would be 5×$17(according to them menu)=$85
Which i didn't see the menu until now , thats i accepted what they say at the call
But what we paid was about $150
Which show how greedy they are with the quantity of the food that we get
Thats also we are 1 mile away of the restaurant
I write this review because how it's frustrating to pay the full price and still left the table hungry
