Went on a Friday at 7pm. We were the only people in the restaurant. We waited for 30 minutes for drinks and did not take our order. Never received our drinks. We were still charged for the drinks and we did not stay.

Amazing!!! All I can say is those YAMS were to die for 🙂. Traveled to Virginia State from Virginia Beach and stopped here for lunch. Soooo good.

This was indeed an awesome dining experience! We were celebrating a friends bday. Both servers were awesome and so personal!The main one said she'd only been there for 5 days, could NOT tell! They also sang Happy Birthday in a fabulous R&B/gospel style...loved it!!!! Beautiful voice!!! To top it off, a very generous young man paid our tab! Don't know who he was, but God Bless him!!!

A nice little spot with delicious food. Our waitress, J, was great, able to go with the flow of our energy and leave my "comedian" of an uncle speechless with some comebacks. In the end, we had a group photo and included J in it. Definitely recommend.

Our waitress was polite. The food was … ok. The cabbage was very overcooked and had a weird taste, the yams were wayyyy too sweet. The corn bread was good, as well as the beans and my boyfriend loved his fried fish. I don’t think that I would want to purchase food again here other then maybe the fried fish for my boyfriend.

went in at 5pm, no one else was in the dining room and still took 50 minutes to get our food. everything was very over cooked. Burger, chicken quarters and 3 tenders. $73 for 3 people was insane for the quality of food we were served. place smells like mildew or mold. only 2 glasses of tea in a hours time. very disappointed. I had high hopes for this place. maybe under staffed. I don't know what's going on but we won't be back. how do you over cook everything to the point it's barely edible? tea was the best part of the dinner and we only got 1 refill in an hour......

You will be paying 18% gratuity when dining in no matter what.! It took about 10 minutes to even get ours drinks. We never got a refill of drinks. The food came out cold overall. The Mac tastes like leftovers. Only thing hot was the small chicken. Chicken wasn’t seasoned well. Had to put lots of hot sauce on it. The waffle was still doughy. Not completely done. The fries were over fired and still cold. Cornbread, lemonade, sweet yams, sweet tea was good. Serves was not good, only interacted with us about 4 times. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to get our food.
