This is a gem! We are from Louisiana, and looking for a Virginia themed Christmas ornament to commemorate our visit. Not only did we find the cutest ornament, the shop had antiques and local goodies like fresh honey, pepper jelly, a variety of fruit chutney, fudge, etc... the owners were so friendly! I highly recommend this place!

Sweet Dixie's is not a restaurant, as the 1st reviewer would lead you to believe. They have confused Sweet Dixie's with the Dixie Restaurant a few buildings down. Sweet Dixie's is an attractive shop with antiques, home decor, soaps,cards and a little bit of everything. They also carry many speciality food items, chocolate,nuts,cakes,teas and many samples.

The rooster bark is to die for and I am not a big sweet fan but that stuff is amazing!!! All their treats are delicious. You won't find friendlier or better service anywhere!!!
