I’m an over the road truck driver and ended up in a truck repair shop in Petersburg by chance. Been here a week and found this local gem. I had the fried oysters for appetizer and the steak and frites my first time here then my second night I had the oysters again bc they were excellent! And I had the pan seared duck breast. Everything was phenomenal! Definitely marking this spot on my map in case I’m ever in the area. Met a lot of very nice ppl who have had similar experiences here and the staff including the owner were so friendly and welcoming. Very nice place!

Excellent food and service. Small menu but very nicely done. The only reason for not 5 stars is that the noise level is a bit overwhelming but that’s because the customers were having so much fun.

Out of town-er here! We had dinner here tonight, our first time we were able to make the 5 O’clock open time (we normally eat early) first off the place is decorated very cute, old style building and very inviting.
This place had a line out the door at opening but we were quickly seated, quickly served, and quickly received our meals.
Our drinks were great and served along with some delicious bread and butter. Our meal came out HOT and looked AMAZING! I had fish and chips, my husband had the Petersburger. Both of our meals were excellent. Before heading out I was asked about dessert and said why not, I ordered the cappuccino crème brûlée to go.
Let’s just say I got home just ate my dessert and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this location for an amazing night out! We will definitely come back to this establishment.

We ate here while visiting the area from California. I had the shepherd's pie. Never had it before. It was packed with flavor! I didn't want to stop eating it. My husband had the Peter'sburger. It was delicious. The fries are fresh and cooked to perfection. We also ordered a side of fried green tomatoes. I can not rave enough about those tomatoes. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is quaint and lively. The staff are friendly and accommodating. All in all a great place. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I personally thought this place was mediocre. The petersburger was actually quite good, the dessert was small but rich. Our server was beautiful and great.... but.. the atmosphere was incredibly loud.

It's been about 15 years since my last visit. Food is delicious! Gotta try the desserts...WOW! It was very loud and busy, but staff was excellent in assisting customers and helped each with food deliveries.

The building is very old so there's not much room for improvement. Single bathroom for Gentleman and Ladies. Went I tried to go there was a woman in the Gentleman's which is fine, because if you Gotta go and can't wait, I totally understand. However, the establishment could improve by upgrading if space allowed.

Highly recommend for anyone who hasn't dined at Brickhouse Run. Totally worth the experience.

There are no good choices on the menu very few choices on the menu too loud and noisy in there. I ordered the barbecue chicken. It was so dry. I couldn’t eat it so I just left it. I will never set foot in that place again.

Great, busy, noisy, high-energy eatery with the most amazing Shepherds Pie I've ever had. Wifey loved her Veggie Burger, too. Wish we had one of these back home in NEPA.

My friend and I just had the most humiliating experience at this restaurant. We are visiting from Florida and decided to try this restaurant because of the great reviews (we are true foodies) after a long day of contracting work in the area we wanted great food and a cocktail. After several servers took our IDs to the back of the restaurant, we were denied service because we look different from our ID pictures which were taken YEARS ago (people change) and Florida doesn’t require us to changed our ID photos we even pulled out several credit cards & PASSPORT to confirm our identities! After telling us they couldn’t serve us they asked us several times if we wanted to leave AFTER telling them it was ok we would just order food (we didn’t care for drinks we just wanted good food) we didn’t feel welcomed and felt VERY uncomfortable so we just left. We’ve traveled the United States and several countries overseas due to military background and NEVER experienced anything like this. We had really high expectations for this place.
