I don’t get the hype of this place. I wanted to love it I really did. First time I got the clsssic carol and it was just a very average (borderline below average) chicken salad, nothing great. This time I tried two different ones- jalepeno holly and fancy Nancy and again, nothing great. They tasted similar to one another to be honest. Would it be so hard to chop the grapes in the fancy Nancy? No one wants giant whole grapes in their chicken salad. The side grape salad...
We walked in to Chicken Salad Chick about 30 minutes before they were set to close for the holiday. The team and manager encouraged us to stay as long as we liked, and offered us as many samples as we wanted. The service and the food were SO nice. Major kudos to the manager.
I like the food even though it's expensive. Don't order delivery though. You need to confirm they didn't mess up before you leave the store. They put our broccoli salad in the bag sideways so the dressing leaked all over everything, and my Olivia's Old South was just plain chicken salad instead of like it supposed to be with eggs and sweet pickles.
