the crab rangoon had no filling in it, the onions and bell pepper are WAYYY to big in the pepper steak fried rice , the sweet and sour sauce was awful & the shrimp wasnt good .. the customer service was good though . I will never eat there again

These negative reviews are so wrong. Hong Kong in Poquoson makes the best Chinese food you will ever have. Those complaining about bad service need to get over themselves, the family at this business works very hard and this restaurant is incredibly busy all days of the week. I've been eating here for 20 years. Although their manners are not overly polite, they are never rude. Hong Kong Poquoson has very good portion sizes for the price of their food and the food is made fresh every order. Sometimes I'll order from them multiple times a week it's just that good of Chinese food.

Highly disappointed with the staff as well as their product/standing behind their product/producing correct item. I have eaten here for years and honestly it's ok. Have had way better but for something close by it's ok. We ordered online tonight. There is an item called a shrimp roll on there for $1.80 each. The picture shows a single piece of shrimp basically straightened out and wrapped in a spring roll wrapper. (Like firecracker shrimp if you are familiar with that). We love them so I ordered 4. Upon picking up our order I checked to make sure everything was in there. Instead of the 4 shrimp rolls there was 4 egg rolls in a bag. I went back in and was told I was wrong that it's a shrimp roll. Now maybe that's their version of an egg roll with shrimp and they call it a shrimp roll. Point being it is NOT what is pictured on their website. Not even close. Guy was very condescending and rude about it. Last time we are eating there.

By far the best Chinese food in Poquoson. This is your typical no frills Chinese restaurant, not really a place to sit down but great for some reasonably priced takeout. I'm pretty set in my menu selections, so I recommend the fried rice and lo mein. I especially love the chicken fried rice, it's just fantastic. Overall, a good joint with good flavor and value.

Been coming here for years. Tonight's food was nothing short of the worst I've ever had. Fried rice had no taste or seasoning whatsoever. The 'chicken' was so questionable looking I didn't even dare eat it. The egg rolls weren't overdone, they were incinerated. Not coming back anymore...sorry.
