Schooners Grill Poquoson

We're very disappointed with our visit this evening, 26 Feb, 6pm. When we arrived we were greeted and seated right away. After sitting for awhile with no acknowledgement by the wait staff and witnessing three other groups being seated and served without anyone acknowledging our presence we got up and left. We'll definitely think twice before coming to Schooners again.

I love to bring my family in there for breakfast and dinner. And me and my other half love to go there for a couple drinks and some appetizers. The staff is always so friendly. Love that the came to poquoson.

Service is great, menu is large enough that whatever you are in the mood for, they can make it for you!!

The food was decent. The service was a bit slow but the staff were friendly. It was quite loud in there.

The prices were high moderate and well worth it. The food was excellent and in ample portions. The service was friendly and prompt. My only concern was that the place was packed (a very good sign) and we couldn't hear each other. Kudos to the Poquoson, VA Schooner Grill!!!

Food was slightly better than average. I'd go again and try other dishes to see if I get the same experience. Great service from friendly wait staff.

We seated outside, menu's were brought to us, however, the cigarette smoke was just too much for us. No problem, we just went somewhere else. On a positive note, the young lady who brought us menu's was very nice and understanding.

Absolutely a great, fun experience. Bartender was amazing and all the staff worked as a team. Food was excellent. Calamari was a little greasy but over all good.

So I attempted to order the seafood feast however I did not want the crab that came with it so I asked for more shrimp, I was told I could not do that, I also could not order a side of shrimp. So I ordered the flounder with two sides. The flounder was a good size but dry, I could not finish it it was flavorless, I do not believe it was fresh. The cheese fries had cheese on top of them but it was not layered in so it was more like a blanket of cheese on top. Not terrible but that was not cheese fries! I will not be coming back. The seafood was a disgrace. The waitress was excellent!

Chicken was rubbery and had no flavor for it being a marinade chicken sub. Loaded cheese fries was just a bed of bacon with limp fries and a stiff blanket of cheese that hardened. Overall would not come back. Also good luck finding parking

The food is always a 10 for me. The staff is great. Schooners is a great local place to eat and grab a drink

Had a small group of friends meet for Happy Hour on the patio and it was awesome! Terrific food, good value for the money and great service. We had a great get-together. Thanks. #killernachos #schooners
