Cranberry Margarita - did not taste the cranberry at all. Fish tacos - very bland, possibly using frozen fish. Very dated decor. Server never came back to see if I needed anything until she brought the check.

The seafood served here is fresh and cooked perfectly. They are very generous with crab meat. The crab cakes are almost all crab meat unlike some restaurants where they are mostly breading. I enjoyed the broiled seafood platter which included shrimp, flounder, scallops, and a crab cake. I also enjoyed the potato cake. It is made with shredded potatoes instead of mashed and they are mixed with cheese and served with sour cream. The restaurant is located right on the water. I highly recommend it.

I ordered the fried oysters. It was 1/4 oyster to 3/4 breading. Very disappointing. A waste of time and money.

Actually the food is really good if you can get what you want. If you come after 7 be ready, they are out of everything. I had a gift certificate for $150 I came in tonight and left with approximately $55. I arrived after 7, no baked potatoes so I changed my order to blackened salmon and a salad. Wasn’t long before the waitress came back and said, “I’m sorry we are out of Salmon.” At this point I should have left but no … I got something that I wasn’t in the mood for; Crab dip and a salad. Yes, the dip is good but not when you aren’t in the mood. I just want to know why the MANAGER doesn’t know how to order enough baked potatoes and salmon. I actually wouldn’t have even came had I known. I wasted the rest of my gift card on something I didn’t even want. The waitress was very nice, it was not her fault and the food if you can get what you want is amazing. I will not be visiting for a while, I’ll go to HARPOON LARRYS, I have NEVER been told they were out of anything , especially baked potatoes 🤯

My favorite spot, corner of the bar looking out on the water, cold drink and some good food.

Service was crappy and the scallops were questionable.

Ugh. Where to begin. We came in around 6:30 this evening. It was definitely a busy dinner time. Hostess greeted us very warmly and told us the wait time which was no problem. We were prepared to wait. Once seated, things went downhill. We ordered drinks from the bar. My husband’s beer arrived but they were “still waiting” on mine. Ordered the shrimp appetizer which was delicious. Dinner was not. My dinner arrived first and we were told that my husband’s chicken tender basket was on its way. The steamed oysters I ordered were completely cold and looked shriveled up like they had been sitting there for awhile. My husband’s meal didn’t arrive for about 7 more minutes and was missing the tots and cole slaw. Another 5-6 minutes passes and the waitress brings out fries instead of tots. And the chicken tenders were the absolute smallest tenders I’ve ever seen. Fast food tenders are larger than that. This used to be my absolute favorite place to eat and I disregarded recent bad reviews because I had never had any problems before but I will not be returning. Just a tip for the staff at this location- do not bring one person’s meal out unless the other entrees are ready to come out as well.

We arrived at 6:45pm, ordered food promptly, but didn't get served until 8pm. The restaurant was less than half filled with guests and plenty of Servers, so I'm assuming Cook line was short staffed. Regardless, the Server had over an hour to clear extra hush puppy plates before serving our food, but didn't clear until after she squeezed our entrees onto the table. 15 min after being served our entree, Server proceeded to ask us if we were done eating by saying, "You done?" and began rushing us to pay. I've had better service on other days, so I'm hopeful this night was just an off night.

This has been my favorite restaurant for years....we went there for my birthday Thursday night 8/22/24, a group of 9...the food was horrible. One cousin got a crabcake plate and hers was good. My brother and I got the fried Seafood Platter like we always do and it was horrible it did not even look the same. Somebody did not know how to cook Seafood. Its like the Resturant got Dementia all of a sudden after all these years. The breading was WAY over used u had a hard time finding the seafood in it and it was cooked too much, too hard, brown, crispy, tastless, all taste the same. It wasn't burnt just no flavor but whatever horrible breading they used. I have NEVER had seafoid there like that in my life. And I won't again either and I will make sure and tell every one I can they have gone down in the pits. My brother got butter beans as a side they had zero salt or seasoning (I mean even butter) in them. When I made my to go I said u are not going to eat ur butter beans and he told me and I said I will doctor them up and I did. My Mother got a Fish Basket and she had the same breading cook problem. We are local people, my Father had his own Deadrise and caught seafood for a living. We know how to cook it and eat it and enjoy it.....we always did previously at Surfrider ....I have no idea what happened ???
