The California burrito was one of the best burritos I ever had and I lived in California for like five years. I give it an 8 1/2 out of 10.

Excellent food and service! Rachel, the owner, took such good care of us and made us feel right at home. The burritos were big, grilled and full of high quality and fresh ingredients. Everything was affordable and huge portions. We will be back!!

The food is nothing like San Diego! The food had absolutely no flavor! Chipotle definitely has them beat. Hands down do not recommend if you are looking for authentic San Diego food.

It’s ridiculous, one bartender as the one server. Waited a longtime for food when asking where it is we were told they don’t have a fryer working and using an air fryer for carne adsada fries. Don’t go here if you have to be somewhere.
I came here years ago it was good today this restaurant is easily top five WORST experiences at a restaurant.

Been here twice before and had a decent experience. This LAST time was really bad overall. We waited almost an hour to get our 3 tacos and carne asada fries. We were almost about to cancel the order. We should have! The tacos were drowning in water, falling part, flavorless. The queso was thin and after waiting an hour they forgot my chips. The fries were so wet, you couldn’t even pick them up with a fork. The server was polite but some drunk customers were basically harassing her while other customers were trying to eat. It was definitely a last for us. The cook was head down on his phone every time I saw him. It was unprofessional. LAST TIME!

I was out for a walk and noticed how good this place smelled so I stepped inside. It says Cali tacos. I was greeted promptly and given a drink fast as well. I proceeded to order tacos. This is my honest opinion please use this review as a way to improve on some weak points. Your kitchen staff should always strive to never let questionable looking good leave the kitchen. They should also be properly trained to know how to serve food in the most presentable manner. My tacos were swimming. There was a literal pool of water on my tray of tacos. I had to eat them so fast so they didn't fall apart which is exactly what they were doing when I picked them up. I couldn't even put my favorite hot sauce on top because it was so wet already. Usually street tacos come with an extra corn tortilla per taco. These however did not. Which adds to my previous comment about training the staff. If you are going to serve a taco in a pool of water, have the decency to serve it with an extra tortilla so that it can actually support the taco. This whole meal was a mess, you guys have a prime location you cannot be slacking on these small yet large issues.

All the mixed drinks and draft beer are served in the same size plastic cups no matter the price and the taco salad was serve with chunks of hamburger meat not ground

The server John was extremely RUDE. He didn’t smile not once at any of the people at our table. He bought our food out separate and whenever we asked questions, he seemed to become frustrated. He was not very hospitable or engaging. His energy was disgusting along with his attitude. He had a personality of a stop sign. But we did notice how engaging and friendly he was with the male guests. This encounter made me realize how much some men who like men, do not like women!
Oh and the food taste like an old leather recliner!
