We are having a Family and Friends get together in May so we chose Checkmate's,wanted to taste the food and check out the atmosphere before the event so we went for lunch everything was gr8.The food was delicious seasoned very well,the restaurant was clean, and the server was very professional.We will be back on Sunday,we can't wait until May for the our next visit.?

My visit to Checkmate's Buffet consisted of a friendly courteous greeting, delicious array of foods on the Buffet reasonably priced. I definitely will be returning.
Triggered my food alergy to shrimp that was in a pasta salad.

The staff was very supporting with my mother's 80th Birthday Celebration. They were very accommodating and everyone enjoyed the food!!! I was so busy I really didn't get to eat like I wanted to but I think I'm going back today. Thanks everyone!!!

I just celebrated my birthday here 12/14/2019. Mr Canty and his staff were amazing. If you ever need a place to celebrate or eat at. I truly recommend Checkmate.
Today will be our 3rd time going. The food is great and the people are nice. We love it.
The food is delicious and the staff is very professional and wecloming. My husband and I felt at home and when we went back, they remembered us from our first visit. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good home cooking that is reasonably priced and has a great atmosphere
