The Hibachi Teriyaki chicken is almost as good as the Chesapeake Square mall Nori Japan in the food court yummy yummy version. I usually get the lomein and veggies with an extra scoop of sauce. The sauce at Chinese gourmet is a close second or I would've given them 5 stars. Also it's cheaper at CG than Nori which is a plus and it's closer to me.
It was so hot and so much food smell it was hard to breathe. No public restroom! So you can eat but can't use the bathroom ?. Really rundown and under maintained restaurant, in my opinion, and the food was under average.
Place was pretty decent for the most part during past visits. Tonight my issue is cross contamination. I ordered spicy bourbon chicken, and the broccoli and chicken and my food tasted and smelled like seafood…I don’t eat seafood. My meal wasn’t good therefore I couldn’t eat my food. Do better! If I wanted something of that taste I would have ordered it. Also some people are allergic to shellfish, so you might want to be careful. Do better!
