My first time at this restaurant since they changed ownership was Saturday 11.15.25. The restaurant is a very small and intimate space. The tables can accommodate 4 but it will be tight if they have a full house. I will begin this statement with saying our waitress was nice, however you can tell she is new to hospitality or requires some training based on how she served us our drinks and food. I believe it will come with time ☺️ Now to the food! Everything was amazing. I originally watched an IG review from 1stonearth on the Shrimp and Grits and the stuffed French toast. It did not disappoint. I personally like my French Toast plain but the cream was good. The shrimp and grits needed no extra seasoning at all. 10/10. My husband had the scramble, and potatoes. That was enough for 2 people. Those potatoes were so good! Very well seasoned.
Part 2! I went back for take out on another day😂 . I had to get the French toast platter and I got a slice of that banana pudding cake! It was so good. I was pleased with the plating for take out. Very neat! I appreciate that. Overall, great job! I live around the corner so I will be back😂🥰

The food was good, but some of it came out late and a few of the sides from my wife’s order never arrived. It feels like they just give you a total without showing the full breakdown until after they print the receipt. After reviewing mine, I realized I was charged for an item I never received. The owner/manager was present, but overall the experience was terrible.

They talked about pending charges about me. From a public post of mine. Called me a criminal and the had the nerve to block me. Innocent until proven guilty. Cases were DISMISSED. all because i commented how much was a lunch special.They are rude, telephone doesn't work. Food is below hospital food. Today was my first time back in awhile, and there were some things that threw me off. I was used to seeing the usual ladies behind the counter but I walked in to two new girls behind the counter. Both of them were very friendly and respectful. I ordered my usual when I come here which is the Chicken Tender Basket. When I got the meal, it looked like they down sized on the amount of tenders and fries they give, but I could be mistaken since it has been awhile since I've been here due to being busy. The meal was amazing and my experience was very positive. I will definitely come back again when I have the time

I dont know what happened to this restaurant but it's not the same anymore 😔, I figured its new ownership because the quality and quantity of the food is not the same. If anyone know if the original owner open a new restaurant please direct me. My feelings was hurt when I went there and I expect my food to be cook a certain way 😩 and it won't there 😕; but on the upside the food there is ok and I would recommend eating if you hungry.

Came there because you’re Facebook page offered fried chicken the young lady greeted us like we had the plague no smile and said bluntly we don’t have fried chicken turned and walk away didn’t ask if we needed a drink or nothing was more concerned about talking to the other young lady’s behind the counter this place has gone way down hill I’m sorry but the new management needs to train there people or they will soon be out of business and see what you’re posting on Facebook will not recommend this place
Great place food was good service was great. Seen a couple in there being nasty to the waitress. Heard them say they are not tipping a black girl that was very rude. Overall nice cafe

FLAVA NATION (JFLAVANATION)
The menu they had out was for lunch yet they couldn’t find the breakfast menu, and breakfast was served all day. 2 customers walked out because of the confusion. I paid almost $20 for a sampler and it was missing items , there are dead flies all over the back counters , definitely won’t be going back . Would’ve been better off at Waffle House dennys or ihop

Walked in and sat down took 10 minutes before our order was taken, several items unavailable such as juice, tea, biscuits, gravy and toast. Needless to say we got up and left to the café next door which was soo much better!

Worst customer service from beginning to end.one girl not friendly at all. Drink only partially filled. Had to go up and ask for ketchup and tattar sauce. Tables not cleaned off. No one checked to see if things were okay. Busy with conversation with someone whole time we were there. People were coming in and not getting menus. Wasn’t busy so no excuse. Use to love this place. Why plastic utensils?
