This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back. The tortellini alla panna was phenomenal. My son's spaghetti and meatball was very tasty, too. The bread with the meal was fresh baked and warm, and our food came out very quickly. They even have Diet Pepsi AND Diet Dr. Pepper. If you drink diet sodas, you know how few restaurants carry more than one diet soda choice. And to top everything off, all of the staff was so nice and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to trying their other menu items.

I placed an order through DoorDash. The order did have specific modifications and normally I never have an issue...I eat from this restaurant all of time. However, today when I received my order...both subs were completely wrong. I immediately called the store and I spoke with Nick. He was very dismissive and nonchalant and simply said I needed to contact DoorDash. Now, I understand I placed the order through DoorDash but the quality of my food and how it was prepared had nothing to do with DoorDash...they didn't prepare my food...East Side did. I definitely reached out to DoorDash and received a full refund because that's how bad the quality of the food was. I do not appreciate the poor customer service I received today and I will not be returning. I use to refer a lot of people to this restaurant but I no longer will. I myself am in the business of customer service and always live by the famous quote of "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and 5 minutes to ruin it. Used to be the best. Now if you order something for takeout or delivery they will leave something out of your order (this time 3 subs at $15 each on a $200+ order) every f'ing time and their go to remedy is refund for the missing items and let half your family go hungry.

Came here during lunch on a breezy Sunday afternoon. My husband and daughter always want pizza and this place had the best reviews in the area and now we know why!The garlic knots were the best I’ve had in years! They were crunchy and flavorful and soft on the inside. The marinara they serve with them was absolutely delicious! My mouth is watering while I’m typing this.We created our own pizza and it was super yummy to our tummy! The crust was perfect and gave NY style pizza vibes!!Didn’t know we needed to come to Portsmouth to get a great Italian food experience.The service was on point. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food came fast and was hot! Will definitely be making our way back when we need a good pie and garlic knots ?Kid-friendliness: They had pretty good kid options. Our kid got chicken tenders and cheese fries she said they were yum!
