Felt like I was parking and walking to the wrong place (since it’s down in the water with the boats) once we got settled the service and food was top tier! The food was phenomenal and I wish I had room for sweets, luckily I will be back soon.

First time visiting and although their kitchen was short staffed and it took a bit longer for us to receive our food, the food was delicious. We will definitely come back. I believe our hostess was named Lauren, she was super nice.

Had lunch there on Sunday. The service, clams and shrimp were all great. The oysters not so much. Oysters had not been washed meaning you got the black, Chesapeake Bay mud on your hands when picking up the shell. Also, the oysters were not cut loose from the bottom half of the shell. The shucker was either taking a shortcut or just did not know any better.

Great service from Leila. Food was excellent. Best crab cakes ever!

Recently stopped at this place for lunch on my vacation and ate my weight in some of the best fresh seafood I have ever had. The restaurant itself is a cozy atmosphere and the views put the windows are spectacular of the marina, even saw some dolphins! The staff were all very attentive and friendly and the manager on duty that day made sure we had everything we needed and then some, down to appetizer suggestions and the recommendation of the delicious rum punch! Will definitely be adding this place to our regular stops when visiting the area!

Fish & Slips Marina Raw Bar & Grill is a hidden gem! The fried shrimp were perfectly seasoned and crispy, fries were hot and flavorful, and the coleslaw was fresh and creamy. Great waterfront atmosphere and friendly service I’ll definitely be back!

Not so happy hour 😒. When we joined our friends who were sipping on their $4.99 well drinks, we asked the Fish & Slips waitress if there was also a happy hour discount on their $14.99 cocktails. She responded sadly no, but that they had a “mimosa special.” So we ordered two of those. That turned out to cost 2 x $18.99 (excl. tax & tip) when the bill came. Frankly, that felt like a ripoff rather than an happy hour and spoiled our otherwise pleasant evening.

My mood even got worse after I realized - back home - that I had double tipped 😒😒. The bill came on an electronic tablet and the waitress mentioned the total amount of $64 upon which I gave her a $100 bill. After she returned she told me “this is $28 change,” but not that she had already withheld the tip. Still upset about the - in my eyes - overcharged bill, I did not immediately realize that 64, 28, and 100 do not add up. Instead, I quickly put the customary cash tip on the table and left. Once I realized what happened, that felt as a ripoff as well. The second time that evening.

It’s not so much about the money, but more about the sneaky ways it’s being taken from you. It feels you’re being taken advantage of, even if it is your own fault for not paying better attention. But is that what you always want on a nice evening out?

Great spot by the water to eat. Excellent selection of foods - shrimp tacos were great and the fried shrimp basket with the old bay fries were delicious. Good kids menu, too! Highly recommend !
