Food is very overpriced for thin sliced meat, pretty much nothing on the sub. The cutbacks are ridiculous!! Everything pretty much doesn't have a taste to it, or it's like it taste the same kinda weird. You better off going to corner store to get a sub. Workers are friendly.

**A Passionate Review of Greater Grinders in Portsmouth:**

I’ve been a loyal customer of Greater Grinders for years, but sadly, something has drastically changed within the past 6 months to a year. Whether it’s a shift in ownership or management, the quality of the food has taken a noticeable dive. What used to be my go-to spot for delicious sandwiches has now left me disappointed and frustrated.

Let’s start with the portions: they’ve noticeably shrunk. From smaller chip bags to skimpier bread and portions, it feels like every corner is being cut. The tuna, which was once fresh and flavorful, now tastes like it's been swapped for a lower-quality version. What happened to the good stuff?

On top of that, they’ve changed the drink sizes and switched from the sturdy styrofoam cups we all loved to cheap plastic ones. While I understand the need to keep up with new protocols, there’s no reason they need to sacrifice quality to maintain a profit. It's as if they’ve completely disregarded what made their food special in the first place.

One thing I can still appreciate is the service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the food just not being good anymore.

Until they go back to the quality I’ve grown accustomed to, I won’t be returning. I sincerely hope they listen to their loyal customers and make the necessary changes because I’d love to come back. But for now, it’s a hard pass.

Me and my sister purchase Foot long sub and I got a greater grander I ask asked for hot pepper and sweet peppers and didn't receive any of it ...plus it wasn't a lot of meat up there...Ham and cheese was the same...This was the first time that I was disappointed...

Ordered a half steak sub the sub was toasted with the tomato and lettuce on the sub we all know that lettuce and tomato release water! I had a toasted soggy steakum sub with a thin piece of steakum for 10bucks! Will not eat here ever again!!! But if you like bad food give it a try

We ordered 2 sandwiches. Had to wait 20 minutes before they told us we couldn't get pastrami cause they were out. Then had to wait another 20 minutes for cold subs. I ordered an Italian the cheese was nasty. Like they use Velveeta thin sliced or something. Will never go back.
