We ordered 2 sandwiches. Had to wait 20 minutes before they told us we couldn't get pastrami cause they were out. Then had to wait another 20 minutes for cold subs. I ordered an Italian the cheese was nasty. Like they use Velveeta thin sliced or something. Will never go back.

The first, only, and last time I came in I asked for the meat and cheese on the sub to be toatsed woth the bread. Well, they NUKED the entire thing veggies and all. It was a dreadful experienced trying to eat a crunchy and simultaneously soggy sub. I was super disappointed and wish they lived up to the hype.

I ordered 1/2 sub with drink it was like $12 waited 30 mins for it during my 1 hour lunch break once I got it I can't say it was anything special for waiting 30 mins and being $12 I don't really see the hype over this place will I return again definitely not.

Ordered pickup through grubhub and was not disappointed. This place smells like all the best sandwich shops I grew up with and the sandwiches brought me back. The staff was super nice and helpful, not to mention fast and professional. I’m definitely going to be coming here from now on.

One of the best submarine shops in Portsmouth, and possibly in Tidewater! Love the fresh baked soft sub rolls and delicious sliced lunchmeats. I love the Super Greater Grinder with sweet peppers.
Never been here till today but this is the best sub shop in Hampton roads. Got the steak and the greater grinder, i didn’t know they don’t put mayo on their subs, the grinder didn’t need it, but I added to the steak when I got home. Both the subs were FIRE! will definitely be back!!!

So this business has been around forever and they used to be good… I just paid $30 for 2 subs, which is normal cost these days however this sub, the club sub to be exact had exactly 1 thin slice of Turkey and 1 thin slice of ham, and not even the good lunch meat, the square processed lunch meat you get cheap at the grocery store, I basically paid for bread… the bread was good, but there was no meat, all you tasted was onion mayo and bread… I mean I know times are hard right now and the economy isn’t the greatest…. But when you order a club you expect there to be meat on it. They must be struggling hard to put out that kind of quality sub. If you think subway is bad with their meat.. you haven’t seen anything yet. I would not ever waste money here again unless they change their quality. I used to really love this place, and I enjoy supporting small local businesses, but this was a total rip off.
