Went here for a 21st bday party 🎉🥳. Place wàs very nice. Decorative, nice DJ and decent bar (drinks were a bit pricey). They also have an outside section where you can smoke. Bathrooms were clean and service was friendly and polite.

i saw one of the bald owners cursing his staff out and disrespecting them. So unprofessional don’t recommend you come here 😭😭 I would never spend my money here EVER AGAIN . SO UNPROFESSIONAL , VERY RUDE AND NASTY . AND IT THE BALD HEADED OWNER

Chileee, I showed up with 18 of my friends for brunch on Sunday and it was a hot mess. The parking lot was dirty and we entered and the place dirty from the night before. There was trash on the couch and floor. I wanted to support black business but they place was terrible. Half of the items on the menu was not being served that day. There was only ONE waiter, food was oily and salty! Food that was available was basic!! We could have made this as home. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IS YOU WANT A NICE OUT WITH FRIENDS...VERY BASIC

I was excited to try this black owned business that supposedly prides itself w/ service and community. I tried brunch today and was horrifically disappointed. The standard is absolute ZERO. Service... HORRIBLE.. Cleanliness also HORRIBLE. Most things on the menu listed, they didn't have. We were actually told the chef just wasn't going to make it. They just don't care, and if this is how it's gonna be please shut down and STOP at least the food side. Drinks and music only will suffice maybe in a lounge atmosphere. This just isn't how you do business. Completely unacceptable. Save your coin and go somewhere else. The owner and or the chef needs to increase business standards or shut it down! Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had and it's mind blowing this place is still open.

(The rnb night Wednesday) im told the weekend would be better They got a nerve to have a dam dress code and then charge 20$ plus my friend had to pay for her table and then to top it off they only had 4 items AVAILABLE off the ENTIRE FOOD MENU one friend JERK WINGS WAS BURNT TO HELL AND THEN DIDN'T EVEN HAVE ALL THE LIQUOR CHOICES NEVER AGAIN‼️‼️‼️ DJ WAS GOOD THO AND THIS WAS AROUND 9:15 PM WONT EVEN CROWDED

All around great vibe for a night lounge... I love the music the drinks the food... I suggest you try it if you're in Portsmouth and like young crowds and jerk wings

Went for restaurant week which was a great deal for $35 BUT the food was slightly warm but good flavor..jerk winks are super spicy..not bad so only complaint was the food not being hot
My friends and I really wanted to like this place, but it fell short in a few areas. We were the only customers in the restaurant for a long while, but our food still took a really long time to come. When the food finally came out, it was lukewarm or burnt. I'm not sure what was going on with the kitchen, but they just couldn't get the food temperature right. The lamb chops were good and would've been great had they been hot. Also, please make sure you take the time to review your check. The prices listed on the menu and the prices they charge are sometimes different. Additionally, they do charge an extra service/processing fee of about 10%, even if you are paying cash. I'm not sure what the fee is for. The drinks were good but overall we probably won't be back to this restaurant.

The place was cute, music was good and the food was sooooo delicious! I went with the Chicken and Waffles, my husband had the crab cakes AND the omelette and he smashed them both lol. We had a large party of 10 and Morgan handled the table effortlessly. We will certainly come here again the next time we are in town

I heard about the place from a friend, was there to watch the fight. They had karaoke and everyone was enjoying themselves. I didn't get a chance to taste the food but I will return !
