This place is my favored. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very professional and the cuisine they cook is so tasty. I am always happy to have a good meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

No offense to our waitress, she was awesome, but you can definitely see why they are going bankrupt. It cost 70.00 to feed 4 people and the food was not up to 2010 IHOP standards. Why would anyone want to pay 70 bucks for 10 dollars worth of food with a slow and below par kitchen. Good luck staying afloat ihop, I used to love this place :(

Went to IHOP Portsmouth yesterday. The place was dirty. Dirty tables, the seat was sticky, the floor was sticky, and the avocado on my omelet was hard and unripe. 1/2 star. I wouldn't even give it that, but some light needs to be shined on it. I know it's a family restaurant and kids and pancake syrup are sometimes a messy combination But I shouldn't stick to the bench. Someone I was with ordered hot tea, had a coffee taste. They should have dedicated tea kettles. Cleanliness was the basis of this review. The wait staff was excellent unless it's their job to clean.

Server not very friendly and seemed impatient with bad attitude+. We decided to cancel order and leave. Staff person we spoke with to inform we were canceling order and leaving was more professional and pleasant.

Placed an order online a little before 10am and was told it would be ready by 10:38. Go to pick up my food they couldn't find my placed order so I had to show my email confirmation which let's me know they hadn't even started on my order and an hour later it's still not ready and was told they were waiting on pancakes! I order this for breakfast it is now about to be lunch time in 30min and still no breakfast. Poor customer service at it's best. Never eating here again

They shrunk the pancakes! Now I gotta shrink the kids so they'll be full & satisfied, lol. The pancakes used to fill the whole plate! Here's the rationale our server came up with......"maybe it's a different cook back there"......lady, gimme a break! You didn't even know it was "endless pancake day!" Why do I gotta teach these people?
They put mushrooms in my omelet! I Realized it half way through.. Yuck! Thankfully the Mgr and waitress was very very nice... She Apologized and removed it from my ticket! Yay. Made a fresh one quickly!! Will return thanks to her :)

The food was great but there was a wait when we got there because the kitchen was backed up. They were not very busy. The service was a little slow too. But we enjoyed it. The thing that really needs improvement is their bathroom because it was pretty disgusting.

seating took a few minutes but nothing major. when we were seated the amount of food waiting to go to other tables was so noticeable that we started wondering how long it would be til our food got to the table. to our surprise it was maybe 10 minutes...no more than 15 for our food to come out. eggs were a little short but everything was good overall

This has to be the worse place ever. If you are in a hurry don’t go there. The service is beyond slow. We waited forever for our food. The place only had like 3 customers when we got there. We ordered simple stuff and still waited and 30 minutes and when asked about our food was told that the cook was a little slow and still waited another 10 minutes. Never again
